  1. Well for one, it was $5 at a yard sale. Two, Full tables go for hundreds of dollars and I'm cheap. Thanks for that link, but it didn't really anwser my question, Lot's of good info though. Actually does any one know where there are pinouts to the cables that go to the backbox and bottom of the cab, I think all secrets lie in those.
  2. I knew that about solinoids, been carful there. I noticed some of them arn't working though, but if I tap them or meve them before I put power to them they work, could be something to do with the lower than rated voltage? Oh and about buring up the power supply, not a problem. I went the ghetto way and am using an drill battery . It doesn't even get warm to the touch. Here is the relay bar/strip I was talking about. uhh the first picture. The second one is showing the solinoids that move the relay bar. the third one, is showing the relay bar, sorry it's not the best picture, theres no good way to get in there with a camera.
  3. Actually I got bored and hooked 12 volts up different things, most of them worked. The flipper solinoids had a bunch of kick, and the pop bumpers were almost knocking the thing over. Only 2 didn't work, don't know why ... yet. Is there any danger to running them on 12 volts dc insted of 30 -50 ac? Is the reset bar on relay strip ( I'm sorry I don't know the technical term) supposed to be all the way back, towards the inside of the machine? Because this one seems to hang out close to the outside and not let the switches work properly.
  4. I'm curious, it would seem that if I don't want score keeping and such, I could just hook up some juice (power) to the relays/solinoids and such, and make them fire. That doesn't seem like too flawed of an idea does it? You seem like you know alot about this kind of thing, do you know, or know where to find the voltages of the coils/solinoids in this thing?
  5. Okay, that is awsome. Does it actualy work? Where do you buy pinballs, and such. Also anybody know what voltage these old gottlieb machines ran off of?
  6. Now what. It is an egg head game made by d. gotlieb and co. out of chicago. Any body know where to get parts for something like this, or how to get it working? I only have the play field, but I was wondering if I could jurry rig something to make it work?
  7. Whats the snow mobiling game on ps1, that you can play on a cd player.
  8. The wal-mart here won't sell the psp till the 4th or something because THATS when it's released.
  9. IT would be cool if they made a game where it could randomly generate maps/levels based on random objects put on the touch screen, Like finger prints or shoes, you get the idea.
  10. Ya, but most people don't have the luxary of doing that, do they . Wish I did though.
  11. What version of xbox do you have? I have a 1.1 with the foxlink power supply (I guess it is the cause, greeeat). They sent me the standard non gfci cord.
  12. Skies of Arcadia was re-released on cube as Skies of Arcadia legends. Great game, pick it up.
  13. Depends on the games, if you got 11 combats, someone should pay you $43 . It doesn't sound like to bad of a deal.
  14. I've heard of people putting the board in an oven and heating it up to 400 degrees or so and having a pan underneath to catch what even falls off.
  15. It sounds like it would be an interesting idea, but I see a few problems. First PC's are loud, I would say you would have to find a way to make it at least as quiet as and xbox. Second Would it be upgradeable? Third, reliablity, windows has drivers conflicts, random crashes, viruses, etc. How would that be dealt with? Third price, why would I buy a $600 crippled computer when I could get an xbox2 for $300 or less? Or a real computer for a few hundred more?
  16. That looks cool. I guess it's a text adventure? Have you played it?
  17. Escape from Monkey Island. It is great. Offbeat humor, pirates and Guybrush Threepwood, what could be better. For $5 get it. You may not like it, but it's worth a shot.
  18. THe jurasic park and ninja turtles are about teh only ones I have, and I've had them since there new. Thats funny. I don't know anything about the ones you have though, just press buttons till something happens.
  19. Opps, ment to say whici I'm not really interested in. Also have a game gear powers on but doesn't show anything on the screen, has both batterie covers and case is in great shape. $2.00 Softcase with hard plastic insert for game gear, has spots for games, extra batteries, that big rechargable battery and other accs. $3.00
  20. I went to an auction and bought what the guy said were game gear games, turned out to be game boy games, which I'm really interested in. They all work labels in good shape except for Vegas game. Kwirk -$4 Turok-$5 Vegas Game-$2 Quest for Camelot-$4 All prices are negotiable, buy pays shipping. Trades welcome, looking for 2600 stuff, or 5200 console.
  21. I thought I was the only to feel that it (the merger) killed just about everything good about the network.
  22. Ohhhh, battle ship for ds, that would be really cool. But it would have to be very inexpensive, $10~$15 at most. Jamcat you suck, I don't say that about many people. And your comment about not seeing doom, quake, etc. on pda's is way wrong. There are many, granted they don't play the best, because there are too many controls to easily translate to 4 buttons and a d pad. But ones custom made for that control scheme are good. Dooms not bad, but quake is on those parts.
  23. I'm in the same spot as you. You shoot the thing on the bottom, but then that stops being able to be damaged then I don't know what to do. And I've lost too much health to really figure anything out.
