Elysian Shadows - A New DREAMCAST RPG in Development
Troy_Whelan replied to ElysianShadowsFan's topic in Homebrew Discussion
I would be interested in a Dreamcast "Game Maker" if it gets started. -
They have a phone number listed in the contacts section, 480-699-9617, if you want to call them for a quicker response.

Team Pixelboy News Bulletin - April 11th 2014
Troy_Whelan replied to Pixelboy's topic in ColecoVision / Adam
I actually like the idea of a new game based on the trading cards! As I mentioned in another thread, the card game within Final Fantasy VII would be an excellent model to base the concept on! Oh, and regarding all of the new games coming out - this is fantastic! Although I might have to get a second job to pay for all of the games coming out in the next 12 months... Troy -
Would you buy Space War for Intellivision?
Troy_Whelan replied to vprette's topic in Intellivision Programming
I would only be interested if it had a one-player vs. computer option. -
Feels like deja vu all over again. Third time for same question and same answer, how many more times will I see this? Maybe I am in an endless loop and do not yet realize it...

Intellivision Ebay Roundup
Troy_Whelan replied to IntellivisionDude's topic in Intellivision / Aquarius
Wonder if the "hidden" sides look as good. With only the 1 picture the buyer is hoping that the box bottoms, backs, fronts, and other sides look good. Also no idea about the condition of the games, manuals, and overlays. Seemed like a gamble to me. Hopefully it paid off for someone. -
The GBA-SP was my favorite for a long time until the 3DS XL came out. The larger screen make a big difference for me, and the use of the 2 screens is often utilized very well. Battery life lasts a long time too. I typically do not use the 3D capability but I do use it sometimes. The street pass features and puzzle pieces are kinda fun too. I can also watch Netflix movies on it which is pretty cool. The PSP 3000 comes in a very close 2nd as the screen on that is just beautiful though not as large as the 3DS XL. Each of the 3DS and the PSP 3000 is better than the other depending on certain game types. I tend to like the PSP more for driving type games and of course it can download much of the PS1 library. I recently got the GCWZero which is supposed to be able to play games from many consoles including the PC. Just haven't been able to really spend any time configuring it or loading anything on it. Maybe someday...

Checking Interest for Air Raid Reproductions
Troy_Whelan replied to Vidiot Games's topic in Atari 2600
Yep you're right. I read it too quickly and it seems my wishful thinking read what I wanted to read. Thanks for pointing that out. Sadly that removes me from the list...I only wanted it when I thought it had a T handle. -
Checking Interest for Air Raid Reproductions
Troy_Whelan replied to Vidiot Games's topic in Atari 2600
I assumed by the "Air Raid shells" mentioned in the first post that Vidiot Games meant actual T handle replicas. Vidiot Games - Can you confirm? -
If you end up with an extra Adventures of Tron, I will trade you a my minty fresh King of the Mountain!

AtariAge Welcomes AtariSoft Programmer Matt Householder
Troy_Whelan replied to thevnaguy's topic in ColecoVision / Adam
Interesting as I do remember someone having the game in the early 1980's because we were thinking it was called "Matt Patrol" to avoid liscensing costs for "Moon Patrol". Not sure how he got it, but I know he had it. He might still have it but I have not seen him for over 20 years. -
Yeah, he had the BIN at $249.99 before with bidding up to $130, now he has the STARTING PRICE at $249.99!!!!
-
Maybe I am an exception here but I could not care less about the brown shipping box that he will likely end up putting the mailing label on. Also I have one of those new as well that I bought some years ago and the glue on the top dries up causing the top to pop open; likely why he is holding it the way he is with some pressure on top.
