Maybe someone can clear this up for me - I remember a guy having a copy of Matt Patrol in the early 80's that he said he bought at Sears. Did anyone else hear of this during the time or have one themselves? Where did you get yours?

Sorry but I cannot vote for Turtles. I looked at that and the only similarity was the maze. The Pac-Man shaped lily pad clue does not factor into Turtles! I think the only purpose of the pond was to have the lily pads looking like a maze.

That would mean this is a version of Ms. Pac-Man Maze Madness!!!

How about Blastar, the video game written by Elon Musk 30 years ago when he was 12 that eventually evolved into the Arcade game Blaster!

Maybe the addition of a manual with the cart will help to ease the wait. That would work great for me! Still ready to get this now though.

Not actually a computer game, but I would love to see a card battle game based on the card battle game in PS1 Final Fantasy VII that they played in the pubs. It could even have gameplay where you played in the combat adventure portion to acquire the various cards to play with. I played that card game a lot and really enjoyed accumulating all of the cards throughout the game. Lots of flexibility in the creation and implementation of this concept. Troy

Very impressive work! I knew Marc did this, but I had no idea about how many he had done. It is noteworthy that he has done so many while keeping the bar so high with respect to quality artwork and craftsmanship. This was a great thread to read! Much more interesting than most magazine interviews. I would definitely love to hear this continue as well as see any scans Matt could share including pictures from the work environment and anything else related to the ColecoVision and game development. Especially related to games that were never released. Vanguard would have been awesome and hopefully it still will be released in the near future. Matt - Any insight to any other games that were being considered but not yet started on? I would find it interesting to know if any of the possible games have now been recently released and possibly even more interesting to know of games that were being considered that some of the guys here have not yet thought of. That could quickly spin up an entire new development effort that a lot of us would love to have in our ColecoVision libraries. This is another game that I could not justify the purchase of when it was released and am now filling gaps in the collection.
