Mystery Man says he's interested, but he's too busy with his job to fully commit to an Adam Super Game conversion at the moment. He will think about it, and if he finds the time to do it (probably in a few months) he will contact me to let me know. Hopefully NIAD's offer to fund this conversion will still be on the table when all the chips fall into place on Mystery Man's end.
So there you have it, I think there's definite reason to be hopeful.

By the way, last year Mystery Man had a quick look at Super SubRoc and he says that particular game would be a bitch to convert because of weird RAM usage. Super Donkey Kong and Super Donkey Kong Jr would probably be easier. So if he does an Adam Super Game conversion later this year, he probably won't pick Super SubRoc.
If I had to choose between Super Donkey Kong and Super Donkey Kong Jr., I would much prefer to have Super Donkey Kong Jr.

The results of the first poll so far are a real eye-opener. It seems lots of people would like to have the Adam Super DK game even though Opcode could theoretically release Donkey Kong Arcade tomorrow (if Eduardo was willing and able to). I guess Adam-to-CV conversions are just cool carts to own.

I never had an Adam so I would be interested in having the Adam game library for the ColecoVision. I voted for all 3.

... Which is why I can understand the voices of frustration here...and you don't really hear too many voices of Ed's most supportive friends, because I feel even they can sense that something has gone quite wrong. ...
As one of Ed's supportive friends I can say that you are not hearing me chime into this as it would only fuel the fire. People are venting, and that is fine to a degree, and I have no personal knowledge on current status which is why I have not been speculating. Everyone has speculated enough and now people are getting stirred into a frenzy.
Eduardo Mello, OpCode, has always delivered quality products and seeks perfection in everything he does. In fact he had a voluntary recall with free replacement of Magical Tree when he found an issue after distribution. No gamers were complaining, he simply found a very minor issue that he wanted to correct. He often has costs at a minimum so he is not making profit, rather he is covering expenses to support his love of the ColecoVision and this hobby. I personally feel that "customers will be satisfied" eventually based on all of my interactions with Eduardo. What I am surprised at is that nobody has wondered if he is alright...perhaps he has fallen ill or is hospitalized. Perhaps he has lost his job or some other unpleasant event. Perhaps a family member is ill and is taking all of his free time. Was nothing learned from when Daniel was having personal issues within the past year, was off-line for a period, and returned when his life calmed down?
Eduardo has my support and he deserves yours as well. I understand the frustration however assume positive intent and give him the benefit of the doubt. He is not new to the scene and he has earned our trust...he has mine.

Seems at least that my earlier post generated some good conversation with at least some understanding my point.
Just for clarify to all:
- As stated in my 1st post, I simply want any new release of Comic Bakery to be significantly different than the limited release; that should be a given.
- The "bad precedent" I was referring to is the selling of games at a higher price to fund efforts only to later have someone else release the “exact same game” for a reduced price. It would be a bad precedent in that the gamers who once supported these efforts by buying these limited releases will cease to do so. The game simply needs to be significantly different. To be clear, people like myself are not buying these as an investment, but we also do not expect to buy 1 of 5 only later to find it is 1 of 500 because of a second run. This would apply to OpCode's ProtoTypes that we purchased to help fund the SGM or even CollectorVision' StarCom (limited to 30 copies) release to help fund efforts and celebrate the CV 30th anniversary. None of these limited release games would have sold for very much, even to help support your efforts, if it was not a limited release and we thought more copies would be released later. I am not concerned about the "investment", more about the principal of the matter. CollectorVision even changes their own games for a second release, so why should this be any different?
- Yes, it was called a “ProtoType" in the original listing: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/161392-opcode-protos-going-to-ebay/page-3?hl=%2Bcomic+%2Bbakery&do=findComment&comment=2165895
- I would prefer to get any game from CollectorVision that has not been released on the ColecoVision before, but if Comic Bakery is to be re-released by CollectorVision and is a different version than that of OpCode then I will purchase that one as well.
- The Skiing ROM is available and I have it. No need to start from scratch on this one unless you wish to create a completely new game.

This will be great if more DreamCast titles come out! Perhaps you will consider porting some PC classics to the DreamCast. Lots of great PC games that were made during that time which could be converted. RPGs, fighter pilot games, puzzle games, and lots more. Or perhaps another angle is Japanese conversions of DC titles such as Under Defeat.

Fantastic! Maybe we will see some original games in addition to arcade ports? Maybe... I think an original game similar in concept to the Sierra series with King's Quest, Space Quest, Police Quest, Leisure Suit Larry, etc. would be a lot of fun to play as well as to create! Could even include names, places, and events we are familiar with...

Not sure how I feel about Comic Bakery being released as I have one of the five prototypes from OpCode. I would hope that the CollectorVision version would be SIGNIFICANTLY different than the OpCode prototype and not just a new release with polished graphics or something...otherwise you will be setting a really bad precedent for both developers and for the gaming community that either purchased prototypes or may be inclined to purchase prototypes, or even limited releases, at higher prices in the future.

A few titles you might like that I do not think were mentioned:
- Bookworm - Great puzzle game that you can play for a few minutes or many hours at a time
- Gorf - Excellant translation with very nice features. Traditional GORF and a Mission Matrix mode. Limited run and likely very hard to find.
- Hardcore Pinball - Fun and addictive with 4 pinball tables.
- Pac-Man Collection - Nice variety including Pac-Man, Pac-Man Arrangement, Pac-Attack, and Pac-Mania.
- Pac-Man Pinball Advance - Challenging pinball game with 2 tables and lots of fun features.
- Space Invaders - Much more than the traditional game, worth looking into; includes the original game and a modern more challenging version with variety.
- Sudoku Fever - Multiple skill levels in a well designed sudoku game.
- and more that I filtered based on your criteria in the first post
-
Niad - Would you be willing to post a PDF scan of the Meteoric Shower instruction manual? I know the game is not difficult to figure out, but I like to have instructions for everything if possible even if it is just a PDF copy. I thought I had a paper copy with my DINA system, but I sold that many years ago.

This would be great on the DreamCast and I would think the conversion would be comparable to building this for a PC. ColecoVision conversion would also be great, but likely much more difficult than the DreamCast. However I would buy both if you made both!
I would likely not buy it for the PC. -
Still in for 2 sets!
-
1 Mario, 1 Side Trak, 2 LoTD for me
-
Payment sent - I would be interested in instructions and overlays if they are made.
-
I would like a copy if any are available - PM sent.

If still possible, I would like 2 CIB please.
Sorry, I posted this in the wrong thread. I posted tonight in the Intellivision thread as I had intended. Please let someone else have these 2 for the Atari 2600.
-
I would like 2 copies of Space Raid for Intellivision when it is released (specifically calling out Intellivision as I earlier posted in the Atari 2600 thread in error)

If still possible, I would like 2 CIB please.

Enjoy the time you have off Luc! Lining up new work is obviously important, but having down time is even more important in my opinion. Ideal scenario would be to have another job lined up but starting in a few weeks...
My games arrived today, but unfortunately I was not available to sign for them. I will get them from the post office on Monday, and I am so looking forward to them! A very awesome set of games.

-
I would buy a binder - right now I just have the Intellivision overlays in the back of my ColecoVision binder.

When I first starting playing Module Man as a beta tester, I was not familiar with the game and had no pre-conceived expectations. However within the first hour of playing I found the game to be challenging without being needlessly hard, thought provoking in that there are strategy and decision elements that will affect the game play, a substantial number of unique screens within the game, and best of all the game randomly places objects within the game similar to Adventure (level 3) on the Atari 2600! Take all of that into account and this is an extremely fun and addictive game with enormous replay value!

If that box is made, I would like 2 please.

Glad things are at least starting to return to normal for you - that is always hard to accomplish.

Show off your Intellivision homebrew shelf!

I also never received the notification when League of Light and Robot Rubble came out even though I was actively purchasing their home-brew games. If anyone has an extra copy of either of these and would like to trade, send me a PM with what you are looking for any maybe we can help each other out!
