    1. Hatta

This reminds me of an episode of Louie. I won't spoil it for you if you haven't watched it. I won't even tell you which one, watch them all!

    2. RickR

Don't feel too bad...it is pretty common to confuse indigestion with heart attacks. And on the bright side, you didn't have a heart attack!

      Master Phruby

Plus the monthly charges for insurance and "privilage of having the phone" tax for two years.

    2. Pengwin

No monthly charges nor tax, I only use pay as you go.

  9. Bought e-cigs from @SAFERCIGS this week to finally stop putting tar into my lungs. Brilliant move, wish I'd done it ages ago.

  10. Just finished my new site to promote my games. Now I just need to find somewhere to host it, and finish some games to sell. #KrazyPengwin

To be honest, if somebody hadn't told me it was "there", I never would have seen it.

Stunning pictures of the Martian surface, though. It's amazing how far we've come since Viking I and II.

  13. Dunno if I can list ten, but here goes: Finally getting an 800XL after wanting one for a couple of years Seeing the amazing (and I am still amazed by it) robot on the demo disc Playing Archon for the first time - still one of my favourite games of all time and the Atari version is (IMO) the best Hearing the music of Alternate Reality:The City when I first got it Beating Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy after months of playing it Playing Ghost Chaser, still one of my favourite platform games (along with Mr Wimpy on the Oric Atmos) Flying across the US in F.S. II, charting the journey on the maps and thinking that I was actually able to make this journey. Writing my first app for a computer, it was a payroll app for my father Discovering that programming, thanks to the Atari, was to be my life's passion Discovering that the Atari community is still alive and strong in the 21st century
  14. After years of using cross platform tools, I am finally getting around to learning Cocoa with Objective-C

    1. Ransom

Cool! I think Objective-C is a great language, and Cocoa's a really nice library. Have fun!

    2. Albert

Objective-C and Cocoa are both great, although Cocoa can be a bit overwhelming! I will be developing iOS apps soon!

    3. Ransom

You're right, Cocoa is huge. If you know C plus the basic OO concepts, picking up Objective-C is a snap. But there's a huge learning curve for Cocoa.

  15. Not one of my better attempts for the HSC:
  16. Pac-Man '82 (Atari) 41250 - Starting on the first level with the game running on default settings.
  17. I like the look of this. Works great on Atari800MacX
  18. I know it's not Atari related, but after the amazing job done of the 2600 version of Boulder Dash, I thought some people might be interested in a future release from Cronosoft: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=P43UObBM4ec
  19. I never realised this existed till this post. What an amazing achievement! Why couldn't Atari themselves put this out years ago?
  20. I'd love to see a port of Defender of the Crown on the A8. Used to play it a lot on my ST. I'd have a crack at it myself, but my programming skills are really not up to the task.
  21. MarkSpotCode: Image files in Virtual Volumes http://t.co/eCO3fe16

  22. Hopefully. Having a really crap time at the moment. My mother died recently, so programming is the furthest thing from my mind right now.
  23. Sorry there's not been any updates recently. Development has had to take a break for a short while as I have other 'paid' projects on the go. As soon as I can get back to it I will. For the record, I have the sprite editor to finish, then the compiler and emulator integration to do. I *think* that is all that is left. Hopefully I should be able to get back to it by the beginning of next month, and then (if the gods smile upon me), a beta should be available by the New Year.
  24. After waiting for games to load from cassette, I learned patience... a LOT of patience.
