  1. Something like this would be the route if I decided. 1. Make a HDMI only NT Mini. 2. Make a premium analog/HDMI version of the Super NT. 3. Find a EU- dealer to distribute oversees. But... I dont know the market that well. But retro gaming is a "thing", and the folks that likes are in their prime economy-wise...
  2. I contacted them regarding this a while ago and there was nothing.. just "subscribe to the newsletter for news". I own a NT mini myself, and I cant be happier that i brought it. The Atari stuff never was a thing here in EU so its really cool to be able to play all those system on a CRT with this accuracy. The intellivision was a bit popular here, at least in Sweden. Hope that core becomes available one day.
  3. Could it not be possible to add a option to get actual speeds over HDMI without the workarounds? I know it might be offspec, but some monitors/tvs can handle those signals aswell.. Like the OSSC, hits the HDMI with whatever it gets feeded..
  4. Milling those alu-chassie costs alot, make low quantities cost ALOT. I dont know but to keep the price of 450/500 needs a big order. And there might not be the market enough for another batch. The smart thing would be a plastic mold with the same hardware. They got experience now for plastic design. They would be far less expensive. But they will cost more than the Super NT. (2 cart slots, analogue out, USB, 4 ports, RCA audio out, real powerplug) All those adds cost..
  5. OK, makes sense. Never really bothered to power off any systems before changing controllers. Now when I think about it, it only affect the 8bitdo thingy.
  6. I dont know, but I think using "we spent thousands of hours" should mean, we hired a guy that spent thousands of hours engineering the FPGA. I dont doubt the other team spent thousands of hours (marketing, designing, logistics, website), but they didn't reverse engineer the SNES. Does anyones Super NT reboot if you disconnect the controller? Anyhow, I love my Super NT.
  7. Polymega is a piece of crap. It will take advantage on people that doesnt understand how it works. And when people asking about updates, the first thing they mention are patent. THAT will ring a bell if any. All users go "wow" on a custom made linux interface... sigh..
  8. One thing that I dont understand regarding Super NT and firmware. If the hardware is replicated and reveresed engineered from an actual SNES, why does it have quirks with strange game like monopoly and so on? If the games programmed wierd but still worked, why doesnt it work on the Super NT exactly like it would on the SNES?
  9. Well, in a way I need cash. Im planning to buy a Neo flashcart, BUT I wanna sell out some stuff first to cover that cost. The NT mini arent in my sell-list, and probably wont be. Owned a AVS before the NT mini, I was very happy with it. However I would like some more updates regardning firmware and scoreboard on the AVS. I belive they planned a rasperry pi version of the scoreboard.. not yet released.
  10. Ye,got the same feeling BUT I dont wanna be without mine aswell.
  11. Thanks for the clarification, felt strange just to bypass a signal direct from pin21, .. but its not pin21 actually. I suppose a 220uF cap could be good. Using a 3.5mm composite/audio for the analoge out on a US NES2 toploader. and tossed the rf box.
  12. Got a HiDef NES question. Since the Q1 should be removed and just bridged, are there a composite amp in the interposer?
  13. Prices getting high on these. Anyone knows if Analogue are going to make another run of these minis? https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=analogue+nt+mini&_in_kw=1&_ex_kw=&_sacat=0&LH_Sold=1&_udlo=&_udhi=&_samilow=&_samihi=&_sadis=15&_stpos=&_sargn=-1%26saslc%3D1&_salic=1&_sop=12&_dmd=1&_ipg=50&LH_Complete=1
  14. Modern displays are very good at displaying 720p still, the limitation is rather lack of extra features like analog out and the extra cores/jb firmware.
  15. Haha, ye. Just to be sure. DO NOT use BT with jailbroken sw. Go with original SNES-controller.
  16. One thing I really like is that the game isnt affected by keypress while in the menu. That's a thing I would like to see in the Nt mini. Or an option.
  17. The speculation is all about.. "do i dare test the jailbreak fw if someone evil made the jb" I think they respect us due to our thoughts in this.
  18. There are only 3 different scenarios for this jb firmware. 1. Kevtris wrote it, handed over hosting to smokemonster and github since its far bigger in volume than the Nt mini. 2. Kevtris shared the code with someone that made a jb version. 3. Kevtris got hacked. Someone made a custom firmware from scratch is out of the question. Im certain that Kevtris implemented the FW update process from the Nt mini that is rock solid. All above is... assumptions ofc.
  19. Are you gonna make a rompack for the Super NT? (all without expansion chips) Also, I'm missing the Shadowrun (SW) (swedish) version i the PAL addon pack. One of few games translated to swedish, back in the day it was really cool.
  20. The save I tested in SM All Stars worked. Did you create the proper save folders?
  21. More important, is this version based on the official 4.1?
  22. Mine had that vaue aswell. I salute Analogue for that. Swedish tax and fees are just insane. Intresting with that jailbreak, hope its on par with the official version. 6.4 seems a wierd first version. Alot of internal builds? I usually starts with 0.7 with my software at work, and every year I increase the major version.
  23. I dont know if anyone else noticed that if I disconnect and connect a 8bitdo retro reciever (SNES version ofc) the NT mini drops the hdmi connection. To be able to get it again I need to power off/power on. And a thing that I never seen before in Super mario All stars, played lost levels.. stage 3-1. When I hit the block and the vine began to grow it disappeared, I walked forward to move screen a bit and the vine disappered. I could climb it in the invisible state tho. Dont know if It's a All stars bug or something with the super nt. Just wanna metion it. Im on v3.9.
  24. Ye, noticed that aswell. Brought a high quality german velleman 1.9A for my mini..
  25. Expected delivery this friday. Quite fast with DHL Express. I really cant understand that the SNES is acually FPGA ported, its quite incredible that it was possible in just a year. The amout of work must be massive. It must have been quite intense in the beginning before the first working prototype core was ready. The next logic step could be PC NT. Since it's a 8bit/16-bit hybrid too..
