    Auction Scam?

But, did you see his QA? He answered someones question about shipping like this: That leads me to believe they will ship. The low report from the shipping calculater is very misleading too. I'm just glad I asked before I bid.
  3. I saw this this Auction and was interested. I checked the shipping and it seemed very low for Priority mail. So I emailed the seller and he sends this: Now, I was confused because his auction says this: What is up with that?
  4. How much does all the weigh so I can attempt to calculate shipping?
  5. Well, this person seems to sell on ebay also, so he/she should know if you return an item shipping costs are not part of the refund. So, if this person returns the item, they will end up paying as much, if not more, than what they paid for the CD's. Even if they were copied, they still end up paying just about the same for them. Doesn't make sense why they would even want to return an item they paid so little for. This person also has 100% feedback, so I would find it hard to believe he/she would neg you for this, but who knows.
  6. Looks like a test auction to me.
  7. I don't think a post saying "Hey, you might want to block this moron, and here's why" is complaining too much. It's doing all of us a service. Why do people get so touchy about what gets posted in the Ebay Auctions section here? I agree. I read everything people post in this forum since I do not always have the time to reasearch, email, etc. Thanks for the info.
  8. Try using a different email to send him messages from. I had a similar problem where a seller's emails where being deleted by my spam filter.
  9. I have it set to XL/XE and 1088KB RAM. The intro screen comes up and starts playing some sounds then crashes. Did you try running in PAL mode? Stupid me. Thanks, now it works.
  10. That's Cheap! Here is what it would cost me: UPS Ground: $14.03 US Postal Service Priority Mail®: $8.85 UPS Next Day Air®: $35.66 Oh, and I forgot to add the $50 BIN.
  11. I have it set to XL/XE and 1088KB RAM. The intro screen comes up and starts playing some sounds then crashes.
  12. I just love it when I come across an auction that makes me laugh like this one did.
  13. It keeps crashing my Atari800Win+ Did anyone get it to work on this?
  14. Check out the shipping charges!
  15. Just burn it! That is what we do around here. My neighbors and I own about 100 acres combined and we burn all kinds of crap--computers and televisions included. We just throw all our junk peeps won't take from the trash into a huge burn pile and torch it.
  16. This story sounds familiar to me. Someone else had a similar story posted a while back just like this one. Where did you post the pics of them? I never saw it. If you won't post the pics, then I doubt you actually have what you say.
  17. It definetally smells fishy. My wife has known me for 20 years and still cannot tell you anything about my Atari collection. This person looks very knowledgeable with both ebay and all of those computer systems. I find it hard to believe that this "wife" knows this much about all of those systems her "husband" supposedly collected. Looks like five finger discout items to me.
  18. I just updated my machine to SP2, I'm running Windows XP Pro, now the errors are gone. Go figure. But I'm still getting upgrade errors when I use Turbo Lister. Anyone know how to fix this? 19. Refreshig didn't help. I get about 20 runtime errors per page asking me if I want to debug. First Turbo Lister fails to work, now I can't even manually list my items. Ebay sucks.
  20. Is anyone getting runtime errors on all the ebay pages? I keep getting one that says 'ebay' is undefined.
  21. I like it when peeps here post links to rare carts. Not everyone has time to hunt them all down. I've seen many others around here do it that seem to have been around a long time. I vote that he keep posting them.
  22. Me too. I asked a shipping question and got the same exact response.
  23. Nice collection. I bet that goes for big. My snipe bid is ready.
