I got this game Cookie Monster Munch in a bunch of carts I was given but when I tried to test it and it doesn't seem to want to play. Is there a special controller or something this game is expecting? It does not seem dead.
Thanks

I know this is an odd request, but I just thought I'd try.
I have the Conversational Spanish tapes, but I'm missing Unit 3/4 and the coursebook.
Would anyone possible have this one tape and/or coursebook?
Thanks

I have a question about Ebay and PayPal.
About a month ago I bought an Atari disk drive and it never came. So I tried emailing the seller many times, but no reply. Then I called the seller and was told they shipped two weeks late because they got a new internet service (now, how that affects shipping boggles my mind).
Anyway, it's been over a month and I still never received the product. All my emails go unanswered and I cannot get a hold of the seller. So, I filed a form on PayPal for a refund, but it's been a week and I have heard nothing from PayPal or the seller.
What is the policy for a sittuation like this? Am I SOL?
Thanks

If you neg him, you are almost guarenteed to get a neg back as retalitory feedback. Unfair, but true.

Thanks for the info, I'm going to dig around there for a while.

Yeah, I meant for the Atari 800/800xl. Sorry. Any samples for those?
Thanks.

Does anyone have any 6502 Assembly language examples for any of the following:
1. Player/Missile graphics
2. Screen drawing
3. Screen page flipping
4. Scrolling
Anything would help really.
Thanks

Can someone explain to me about SIO2PC? How does this work and what hardware and software do I need?
And how do I hook up the DIN port to my TV. What cable do I need to buy? I have an old crapy TV I use for my Ataris that has one Audio and one Video port.
I don't know squat about these two things.
Thanks.

Try living in Ontario. 7% PST + 8% GST = 15% tax on taxable items.
Holy Crap! R U serious!
Do you pay income tax too? I'd pay 15% tax on everything if I didn't have to pay Federal and State income tax.

Ebay transactions should be like this....
1) Buyer pays for item as agreed
2) Seller receives money
Buyer has fulfilled his obligation and so....
3) Seller leaves buyer feedback
4) Seller sends item
5) Buyer recieves item
6) Buyer leaves feedback based on item being as described or NOT as described - that being a + or -
If the seller skips #3.......

Oh yes, I totally agree. Sometimes it's not worth the negative retalitory feedback for something and you end up just leaving the positive.
If the seller was required to leave the feedback first, you wouldn't see half the crap that goes on there. Also, I bet you would see alot more honest negatives.

I emailed this person and he replied that he won't sell in PA due to tax reasons. That's all that was said.
Living in PA myself, I'm used to paying the 6% sales tax, although it's a bit steep we have no choice.

The problem is that eBay makes it way too easy to rip people off on shipping -- and too many people are _far_ too willing to let it happen, which encourages more sellers to do it because it's so damn profitable. I can't tell you how many positive feedbacks I've seen left for sellers that absolutely hate-raped them on shipping. It's that permissiveness that has made it such a pervasive practise, and it's sick. That's true, but most peeps are not going to risk the retalitory feedback for a slight over charge in shipping. I was overcharged about three times so far this month, and if I left three negative feedbacks about it, I would have three negatives myself.
If ebay required sellers to leave feedback first, I bet you would see alot more honesty.
