    Hey folks,

    Newest NEO GEO review I did, BURNING FIGHT. I wasn't impressed terribly by this Final Fight knockoff but I do like the stores you can enter to smash merchandise for bonus points and life-recovery drinks.

    nice, not the most technical Neo game but as a fan of double dragon, will check this one out. good video, nice one! :)

    Are the 16's considered to be rare, hard to find? I did a quick search on eBay and found very few listings.

     

    I have one, and curiosity has gotten the better of me.

    Not exactly hard but not loads for sale. unboxed 50 quid maybe working, a nice boxed original set can fetch 120-150 depending on condition.

    This morning, were with Retro Marky. Marky is the proud owner of a custom MVS unit. Marky is new to the Neo-Geo community, and were glad to welcome him aboard to the amazing world of Neo-Geo. Let's see what he has to say on his new unit and games shall we? :)

    Very nice indeed bro. Thank you for sharing thesew two videos with us. Pete surly has mad gaming skills and really showed them in these videos. Wouldn't mind get him aboard on the Neo-Geo thread for sure! :)

    Ok, I have two important questions for you die hard Neo Geo fans.

     

    For those of you who own the AES or a consolized MVS, what kind of TV or monitor are you using? Are you playing your games on CRT like a purist? Or are you using a modern TV?

     

    Now for my second question. How does everyone feel about the HDMI mods for the MVS? Can I get your opinions? Here's a video.

     

    Mine is a HDMI machine and I love the quality on a LCD TV. I do wish however I had other options (scart etc) but I can't complain at all about the quality. It looks amazing! :)

    Thank you for your kind words. Yes I am a very happy owner of an MVS, took me two years to find the "right" one and bite the bullet. My plan is to make a video every 2 weeks more or less and do my top 5 games of the moment.

    I look forward to this journey immensely although I suspect my atari 2600 is weeping in the corner and already plotting revenge on the MVS!! :)
