No wonder! I was going call bullshit for a mother being so cavalier about video games... but, it makes sense because they were not her quarters. LOL

hah! Just came off of a nice 2600 session of Dragonfire, Franky's Monster and ye old Gravitar ... with a few wines and vodka under the belt. I swear I played Grav better with my wonky inner gyro compensating for the games wonky gravity! :)

  4. Sadly, I've run outta time to attempt to better my score, due to work. Regardless, I doubt very seriously I could have beaten oyama's score anyway. Hence, I concede. The better man wins! Congrats oyamafamily Well played and a well deserved win! ................... you bastard!
  5. Wow .. nice oyama! I've got some work to do. Not looking good for me
  6. Dick Smith System 80 (TRS-80 Model 1 clone) I remember having to program 'Snake' on it, for a High School project (80's). God bless the glow of a green screen! https://www.classic-computers.org.nz/system-80/
  7. King Kong (2600) Return of the Jedi: Death Star Battle (2600) Sleeping Dogs (PS3) Oops. Not classic. Sky Kid (NES)

  10. King Kong (2600) - Actual game hasn't been mentioned yet... unless I'm fricken blind.
  11. Expanding on Dan's quote: "I’m rewriting the game from scratch so the new game will not be starring Keystone Kelly. It will be a physical cartridge release under the brand Tiki Vision Games. The original concept started as a generic train game. I’m a model railroader and wanted to make a side view game with different railroad cars. At the time my brother Garry had released Keystone Kapers and we thought using Keystone Kelly would be a cool addition to the game. The initial intent was to have Harry Hooligan transition from a petty department store thief to a full-fledged train bandit. However, before I had a chance to continue work on the game, the 2600 market experienced its downfall and I moved onto other games. The new version (has) two levels of gameplay, but the character will also be able to climb into some of the train cars like the box cars and Pullman Coach cars. The train will be a runaway circus train with various exotic animals to avoid. Each level ends when the player locates a varying number of engine parts that have been scattered in and around the train cars and makes their way to the locomotive to stop the train before time runs out." http://www.retrogamenetwork.com/2018/08/01/atari-2600-prototype-keystone-cannonball-getting-retooled-and-released-by-dan-kitchen/
  12. King Kong - Game 1 B/B 2,735 Played on: Retropie with original CX40 (Via DB9 adapter) Don't have this cart unfort. Been on shift work, so 1st day to chuck a time in. 3rd level kicking my ass.
  13. You couldn't pry any of my beloved carts from my Polish meat hooks However, in the spirit of the thread, I would say I would keep the AA's Top 100. http://atariage.com/forums/topic/62626-top-100-2600-games-of-all-time/ I enjoy too many Atari eggs for a short list!
  14. Nice start their m8. Likewise, Good Luck and enjoy!
  15. You bastard Save! After seeing this, I'm off to sort my carts Alphabetically instead of by Publisher. .... Sorry, slight thread hijack.
  16. ... and more eggs for the Atari nest, that I don't have. Happy to get Seahawk to complete the only 3 John Sands Electronics games. I'm usually a cart only collector, but always nice to get a few cheap clean CIB for display.
  17. +1 And expanding on that .. of all my 192 unique 2600 eggs, every single one works. I have not bought a single cart that didn't work. I would say about 40-50% needed a clean to get them working when purchased. That's surprising imo!
  18. I thought of that right after I posted, but didn't bother editing. 1 god damn life!!!! The epitome of challenging.
  19. With the all the new-fangled high level console tech out there now, I still come back to this legendary old bitch ... as well as get the most gaming joy above all else!!
