  1. I wanted to post this here in the TI forum before i threw it on the Marketplace. I have 2 extra Atarisoft carts that need good homes- Pac Man and Jungle Hunt. The Jungle Hunt cart is kinda rattly but otherwise they are both in decent shape. Does anyone need these for their collection? I'd like to see them go to folks first that would get some use out of them or need them for their collections before I try to sell them. Gone! Wow, that was quick.
  2. Crossfire is kinda rough with the line shooting mechanic. Epyx and Broderbund had SO MANY awesome games on the C64- Epyx if I remember correctly did C64's version of Shamus, Zaxxon, Blue Max, etc etc etc. Broderbund had the inimitable Lode Runner (that my dad and i spent many hours playing)
  3. Thanks for the update- hopin everyone down in that area fares as well as they can.
  4. @iwantgames, that's Crossfire! I love love love that game.
  5. oh wow! that's pretty cool. i didn't know that
  6. you are correct, sir! i shall await your reply with 'baited' breath.
  7. i love this thread because it shows stuff that I wouldn't necessarily look for ..and not to have sour grapes when i figure out who bought some cheap carts before me and turned around to resell for 3x what he bought them for. I'll put on my big boy pants and just try to buy them sooner and not wait next time!

  10. here's what the entry says below the pic on the website: "From arcadeshopper: I am going to start building these in small quantities, my price is about double the original due to the increased costs due to small quantity and my labor costs."
  11. i personally really enjoy Slymoids, the Scott Adams Adventure games (if you like text-based adventure), Crossfire, Buck Rogers, and Henhouse, i cant avow to the homebrew stuff just yet because I haven't played much
  12. as always.. thanks! that's what i suspected- im sure i can dig something up.
  13. i was looking at using TI99-PC and using a 'modern' computer to save a .dsk image to a floppy for use in my TI's PEB. While I have seen tons of 3 1/2 " USB drives (I have a couple in my office), I haven't seen such a thing for 5 1/4 ". If I was going to go this route to play around, would I need a 1) old legacy computer that has an internal 5 1/4 or 2) find a 5 1/4 drive and use the floppy header on my motherboard? Thanks in advance!
  14. oh cool, thanks so much. i messed with it some and managed to get 9160- that game gets fast!
  15. Good morning! I just got my Henhouse cart and was messing with it this morning, but no manual. Ninerpedia says this: Hen HouseThis is the first Funware module. You control a farmer at screen bottom who has two conflicting tasks: to protect his hen house from poachers and wolves, and to collect eggs. If too many eggs are dropped or the wolf reaches the hen house, the game is over. The game starts slowly, but as the score increases so does the speed. As you reach 10,000 things are really zipping around, and you have to make fast strategy decisions: do you take the chance on letting an egg fall in order to get your gun? The instructions are a bit thin... the rifle is stored at screen left, to pick it up or drop it, move to extreme screen left. The eggs are collected by standing under a chute (without the gun!) and when the chute is full you press the fire button (joysticks are optional). You then move to screen right to drop the eggs into a red lorry (which is invisible on black and white displays : it is there though!). A simple game perhaps, but the animation is neat and as it speeds up things do get tough. SO.... just to confirm, when the 'chute' fills up, i go under it and press the fire button, then go to the red truck? I apologize in advance for being dense.
