Here's a system you don't see everyday on eBay... Selling my Japanese NEC PC6001 computer. This machine was released in the states as NEC Trek. It has a Z80 and Motorola 6847 video chip (like the TRS-80 Color Computer). The sound is via a General Instruments. Comes in the original box. http://r.ebay.com/Gfj6l0

I have an Epson PC286C that I wanted to restore but I simply have too many systems needing restoration and the back log is out of hand. So, I'm parting with this NEC PC98 clone. Cool looking machine and was billed as an Amiga killer in Japan. lol. The NEC PC98 has a huge library of coolr games. If you love restoring machines, this is one to get: https://www.ebay.com/itm/263394723135 Also, I have an MSX machine (fully working) https://www.ebay.com/itm/263390094541 (and load of MSX games for sale too) and a Captain Phasma TRS-80 Color Computer 2 https://www.ebay.com/itm/263382550254 Thanks all and Happy Holidays to you, your family and your vintage machine!

PC Engine (TurboGraphics-16) + MSX + PS1 Sell-off
ColorComputerStore replied to ColorComputerStore's topic in Auction Central
Loved TV Sports Baseball (and Football) on the Amiga. As for the PC Engine. Each different title I own has some interesting point. -
Can somebody post some pictures of TumbleBugs? And if you have the ROM, would love a copy. I was chatting with the original programmer of the game (came from TRS80 CoCo world). Thanks!

Looks like vdsteenoven.com went over a bandwidth for his image host. Can someone post the various magazines/books related to the Aquarius? i.e. http://www.vdsteenoven.com/aquarius/pfuser-vol1.php p.s. If you haven't already, join our Aquarius group on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/groups/1816932675303748/ Thanks Carlos

Upgrade Atari 800XL Basic to revision C
ColorComputerStore replied to ColorComputerStore's topic in Atari 8-Bit Computers
Can you gives me links that would expand my knowledge on those two? I've never used an Atari so I'm not up to speed on the various BASICs. I assume with the two you recommended, the downside is only people with said BASICs can use programs written with them? Or do they compile to machine code? Thanks -
Upgrade Atari 800XL Basic to revision C

Actually, I saw that and it was one reason that got me to post. I had asked the seller if it is just a matter of plugging the chip into the internal ROM socket and the seller said they didn't know. Kinda made me nervous that they didn't know. Thanks -
Upgrade Atari 800XL Basic to revision C

If I burn an Eprom, what modern Eprom is recommended? I have a TL866A Eprom programmer. As for the cartridge route. The C version is the one with the silver label? Thanks -

Yes, I plan to program. Cheers -
Hello, I picked up an Atari 800XL a few months back and will soon start to enjoy it. I understand that they came with BASIC revision B and later Atari models had a less buggy version called revision C. To upgrade the 800XL, are the two options (1) buy a revision C cartridge or (2) upgrade the BASIC ROM? For option 2, would I just buy something like this off of eBay? https://www.ebay.com/itm/162564860327?ul_noapp=true I do have a EPROM burner so is another option to find revision C online and burn it to EPROM? In either case, is it a matter of popping out revision B ROM and putting in revision C? (assuming the ROMs are socketed.) Thanks

I decided to offer many of my MSX games as 'bundles'. These games were bought during my summer trip to Japan. They are for MSX machines. Down the road, I will be offering MSX machines as reasonable prices as well. I picked these games up as they tend to require to least amount of Japanese language skills necessary to enjoy them. I have a Panasonic KX-P1123 24-Pin Dot Matrix Printer for sale. The picture below was taken with the installed ribbon so the characters are not solid black. However, I bought a still wrapped ribbon and will include it. eBay looks to have enough stock of the ribbons to last some time. This printer uses a Centronics (Parallel) interface. Thanks for looking! Maybe your ASCII art be beautiful and code listings be free of bugs. http://r.ebay.com/UBlJh4

I completed the replacement of the crystal in this TI99/4A so the color stability should last years and years. I also re-did the thermal paste on the two IC chips. Cleaned every part. Sadly the machine was missing one of its metal case covers. So I asked a professional auto body painter to give it a new metal look. The paint looks great and won't rub off like spray paint cans. I added the BASIC manual, AC adapter and home made composite video cable. This is a machine that will work and work for many years at that. http://r.ebay.com/CIIJg9 Thanks for looking!
