I bought this Dreamcast at a yard sale from a family with a bunch of little kids and about 15 games or so. I'm almost positive they didn't play burned games on it because when I bought it they weren't sure what it was lol. But damn, so a replacement laser assembly would be my only route? I also found an assembly on Ebay but it says its for a model 2 dreamcast? How do I go about determining the model of mine, it's a sega sports version btw.

So I've got this Dreamcast that spins up and continuously spins at the "Dreamcast" screen after the little orange swirl is made. I looked online and did the laser calibration, but is to no avail. Anyone have any suggestions or have had this problem before? I'd appreciate the help

Did you happen to get this all at a really awesome flea market in New Milford?

I've played that before, it's an awesome game. A little difficult to get used to in the beginning though.

I believe Adventure Island 4 is Famicom only.

I'm 16 and love everything to do with classic gaming, especially my Atari 2600.

Shoot the gravity-type thing under the boss until it is destroyed. Then grab onto the ladder on the left side of the wall and start pumping missiles into his face. The face will gradually turn redder and redder until he turns into an X Core. That's how I beat him.

I just finished Resident Evil 4 last night and I just have one thing to say: Totally Awesome.

The pawn shop near me has always been good. The prices are reasonable and I have found quite a few rarities and cool stuff there, liked boxed NES games for $4 each and a boxed Atari 400 with some games for $15.

These songs are so awesome...I'm listening to them right now.
