  3. Since you used the word "chuffed" I'm guessing yours is PAL.  :ponder:

    Still an R7 though. Congrats!

how did u guess it was pal lol r7 yeah still happy dident even know got a bundle of games for free from a mate not bad

  4. hey all im a new collector going throu me games and putting them throu the good old Rarity guide then i came accros ikari warriors its Rarity is 9 i chacked the screen shot played the game and it turns out to be a 9 well chuffed.

  5. I used to check eBay (UK) every day for 2 yerars straight and never saw a Pal Heavy Sixer. Until recently there just has never been any, only now they appear to be popping up. It seems like an easy way to make more money on eBay.

I personally don't think Atari went to the UK before the Heavy Sixer ceased production.

same with me just over 2 years ive been looking for decent sixer so finding the pal sunnyvale light sixer is a nice thing to add to me collection but ive never seen a pal heavy

  6. If they sell for more, why not just take the guts out of a ntsc "light sixer" and put it in a heavy case. Boom, a working pal heavy sixer.

this is what i mean people are modding them and i think this is what is confusing people im not sure but i think the first "pal" sunnyvale was 1978 think i read something about they were only made for 6 month this is the one i brought should be on its way. anyway recently due to all the speculation there have been an increased number of apprant "pal" heavey's obviously pal heavys would be worth a lot more.

anyway what u lot think about this list i think it will make great addition to the site would be great for beginners and referance could be an extension to the harware guide im thinking just a throught thou

  7. personally i dont think they exist all ive seen so far is ntsc heavy's that work on pal tv meaning they have been modded or something as much as i want it to be true becouse god knows i want one if there out there, i have found that a few people including my self get confused when it come to buying 2600 woody's especially off ebay for one the box u may get with the console could be from a diffrent year i now u tell by what pics it has on the front but what style box is what year i dont know

for example i have just brought this on ebay:

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...me=STRK:MESE:IT

weather the box matches the console and the paper work is in order im not 100% and does anyone know for the year they made the cx-2600 sunnyvale and the time they made the sunnyvale light sixer (one i brought see link) and the promotional 4 switch do all 3 have the "heavy sixer" picture on the front of the box.

just to finish im thinking maby we should make some kind of list with pic's of each console with what box goes with what and maby include pic off all accessories and what orignal paperwork goes with what im quite sure that this is possible some people here have some amazing collections

  8. im unable to take pics i have no cam, pics i found are the same and same condishion so i used them. seeing them on ebay made me decide i should fish mine out and see what there worth and if they are very sort after or not dident want to go by the ebay price wanted to try and get a more Accurate price for them shold of said where pics came from my bad on that one :|
