Grab the yellow rejuvenater before it makes it off the screen. It should then show up at the bottom of the screen. The max is something like 12 or 13 I think.
Nothing is happening when you collect them? Are you running an emulator or real hardware?
emulator, might just be a bad rom, idk

How do you get extra lives in beamrider? I know it's the little yellow ships that show up, but I've tried shooting them, letting them go to the end, letting them hit me, nothing seems to work

I assume it wouldn't matter, as long as it doesn't change the actual gameplay, people who use emulation can use a keyboard, so I don't see why you couldn't

first time ever playing a 5200 game, I feel like the controls will become more difficult as it goes just from looking at the controller, but I'm open to the challenge
