  1. Hey everyone. Last call for Moxie, AtariMania, and YankeeMania. There are still a few slots left for every game. Cutoff date will be Sunday night. At some point on Monday I will pm everyone who ordered a game and send you your total and my paypal address. Shawn has everything ready to go so turnaround should be quick. All hail the great and powerful Shawn! Thanks again for all the responses! Steve (Red5)
  2. I’m from Connecticut and while available we don’t usually drink it. That said, we go camping in Mass. and Maine a lot and for some reason it is a tradition for us to drink that foul concoction on every camping trip.
  3. Hey Everyone! Happy Spring! Shawn has some extra carts in stock and ready to make some games. I am re-selling 10 copies of YankeeMania for the first time since 2007. I am also re-selling 10 copies of AtariMania for those who missed out last time As for Moxie Wins, there was a Moxie version of Coke Wins on the AtariAge FaceBook page. I said if people were interested I would make the game. It is definitely not the same hack that the person found in the wild, but I decided that I would make my own version. I am sure it is pretty similar but from the screen shots I saw, I made mine a little more Moxie-ish. As a born and raised New Englander I feel I can faithfully make a Moxie hack better than most. It includes the year 1884 on the top right so you know how old Moxie is and coincidentally how old it tastes. There will be 10 of these made available as well. We have a total of 30 carts to make so 10 of each will be made. $30 each shipped to the US. $57 if you want 2 games, or $85 for the 3 pack. 4. Here is the ROM for AtariMania. It appears we have a few more boards and Shawn can make a limited supply of some more for those who missed out the first time around. Not sure how many we can make, so first come first served. If you want the real deal cartridge, let me know and I will start a list. Price is $30 ($35 shipped to US) atarimaniafinal2020.bin
  5. Hey everyone. I will officially post the ROM for atarimania on here later today.
  6. Tracking has the games arriving Wednesday 11/4!
  7. If people are still interested in the reserve list, let me know and I will add you. If there are still any left I will list them in marketplace here and on fb AA marketplace. I am fairly sure they will all be taken by the original reserve list, but you never know.
  8. So here's some exciting news... Shawn has finished the carts and they should be on the way to Connecticut soon. It was a longer road than expected but Shawn and CPUWIZ are amazing (but we all already knew that) and somehow pulled it off. ANYTHING like this that gets completed in 2020 is amazing. When I get the games I will send everyone who reserved one a pm to collect the $30 payment. If anyone decides they don't want one, I will ask those on the reserve list. Thanks to everyone for being so patient and encouraging while the game was 'under construction.' This is still the best community on the internet. Now... without any further ado... here they are! All twenty of them ready to make their first leg of shipping from Canada to Connecticut. I am SO excited!

  10. Sorry for lack of updates. Hurricane hit us in CT pretty hard and had no power for 4 days. The games are currently being made and Shawn's label is awesome! I will update again as soon as I know more and as long as no more hurricanes swing by New England anytime soon.
  11. I did a megamania hack a little over 10 years ago called YankeeMania. AtariMania is a sort of sequel with an Atari 2600 greatest hits sort of theme. I will post the .bin a little while after i ship the carts.
  12. Sold out. If you want to get on a wait list in case there are no shows, let me know and I will add you here: Second Chance List: 1. tailGator 2. yurkie 3. 4. 5. Thanks again to everyone. The label is set and the games should start to get made fairly soon. I will keep everyone posted of progress right here.
  13. We have 9 spots left to fill to get to 20 games. Cutoff will be 8/9 so we can start making them. Thanks again to everyone.
  14. One week left until we start moving into production. Nine spots left as of today.
  15. We have enough to make this possible, so thanks to everyone who showed interest. For those waiting to see if it would really happen or not, sign up! I am going to wait another week or so to see if anyone else wants to sign up. Cut off date will be August 9th. Thanks so much again to everyone.
  16. AtariMania is a new Megamania hack. The long version of the story is in the Atari 2600 forum here along with screenshots of all 8 levels. The short story is, after having a bit of free time lately I found the old code from when I made the YankeeMania game over a decade ago. I also found a half finished, completely new hack that I was working on before I abandoned it to raise kids and do other life stuff. I was showing it to my 16 year old son who was very interested and wanted to learn how the coding / hacking worked. We finished it up together and decided it was really fun. Chock full of Atari Nostalgia Goodness. Your 'Ship' is the Atari logo. Your lives are represented by Atari Joysticks. You battle the bats from adventure, Pac-Man, E.T., Scorpions from Pitfall!, ships form Defender, Asteroids, Sharks from Seaquest, Frogger frogs, and Asteroids from ... well... Asteroids. We will need at least 10 people to do a run of the game and we will cap it off at 19 copies (20 including my own.) The game will be $25 plus shipping to US only. Cart only this time. No manual or boxes. The label is being worked on and I will update this post when we get one. Carts will be in regular black case Atari carts. If we get lucky some will be in Activision carts but no promises. PM me or reply here and I will add you to the list. Thanks again for everyone who already showed interest. Reserve List: 1. Red5 2. TrekMD 3. adamh9700 4. Skwr163 5. jwelsh 6. lmich391 7. spindly1970 8. groundtrooper 9. gandor 10. retrok7 11. Wonder007 12. Kaboomer 13. SledgeHammerD 14. john black (web) 15. socrates63 16. sramirez2008 17. sal efici jr. (web) 18. ataridan 19. CommodoreDecker 20. Razzie.P
  17. Thanks to those who responded. I am going to post in the Marketplace to start a reserve list. If you sent me a PM, I will mark you down on the reserve list. If we get around 10 people on board I think we can go ahead and make carts. We are close! Twenty will be the limit for this run. Again, not sure if we will make more.
  18. Way back in the day (over a decade ago) I made YankeeMania because I wanted to learn how to program a bit and learn how to hack images in games. People were interested and wanted a cartridge of their own so we made a few. (Also, I haven't been here for a while so if this is the wrong forum to put this, I apologize!) With all the extra time I have had I started digging through all of my old projects and I found a half finished game. My son (now 16) was interested and together we decided to finish it so he could learn a bit as well. After a few days we decided that it was a pretty damn good game. We changed the date from 2007 (when I started the game) to 2020 as the last edit. What is it? It is a Megamania hack (like Yankeemania was) where you attack Atari's 'greatest hits' characters. Your 'Ship' is the Atari logo. Your lives are represented by Atari Joysticks. Atari scrolls to Mania on the bottom of the screen. 2020 appears on the bottom of the screen. During play testing we found something pretty cool. It is possible (but incredibly hard) to have a missile come down at the Atari Log Ship and slide right down between the slots of the ship and miss you. Hours of play and it happened only once when we started the game on the first level and remained still. Missile went right through. If You Want Copy of the Game: If you are interested, PM me to let me know. If 20 people want one we will do a run of 20 cartridges and I will post something in the market place. At a later time we might do it again, but probably not anytime soon. The price would most likely be $25 + shipping to US only. No box or manual is planned this time around. Just a game with a fun label that has also not been created yet. My friend who is a graphic designer (who made the Yankeemania label) is on board to make it ASAP. What do we fight against this time? Level 1 makes your dreams come true! You get to finally destroy that horrifying evil bat from Adventure. The bats flap their wings. Level 2 will have you facing Pac-Man (Pac-Men?). The mouth opens and closes in the same animation as the Atari game. Level 3 is Frogger frogs. Level 4 is another dream come true! Do you hate those scorpions from Pitfall? Well now you can finally blast them into oblivion. Level 5 is the sharks from Seaquest that harassed those poor divers. The mouths open and close. Level 6 is E.T. Yes... poor E.T. As if he wasn't undeservedly hated on enough. At least people can't complain about him falling into pits this time around. Level 7 has the ships from Defender. They have learned how to fly in formation and are ready to attack. Level 8 is tumbling Asteroids.

  20. Willing to hear offers / trades. (I like guitars, video games, vinyl, long walks on the beach...)
  21. More fun games for my Atari friends. All NTSC. All tested and work great. Prices do not include shipping. Shipping is from CT. Xonox Single Enders: Motocross Racer $35 Robin Hood: $55 Sir Lancelot: $125 Tomarc the Barbarian: $50 Spike's Peak / Ghost Manor Double Ender w/ manuals: $15 All Three Mythicon Games CIB. Boxes, games, and manuals are all in great shape. All boxes have been opened carefully from the bottom: $45 (will not split up... for now...) SOLD Joyboard and Mogul Maniac Tested and working. Sticker on joyboard is peeling a bit and was taped down on the end (not by me) with clear packing tape. Does not work well on a rug. Really needs to be placed on a hard floor. Also, I would not stand on this to make it work if you weigh more than , say, 30 pounds. It was definitely made to be played sitting and using your feet gently: $70
  22. Texas Chainsaw Massacre : $240 shipped to US Slight peeling on end label. See pic.
  23. Howdy fellow Atarians. Parting with a few rarer items to get them more love than I am currently giving them. These are all the real deal, and all tested and working. Berenstain Bears : $250 shipped to US. See pics for some water (beren)stains. Other than that, in great condition. Cart is super glossy and looks brand new. Same for cassettes.
