  1. There. I said it. (Well, at least a rarity 9) Going on 3 years of an automated search on Ebay. Espial has shown up once. (The search is set for title AND description by the way...) Once. River Patrol shows up more often.
  2. Star Wars Arcade (But it's always Frogger, no?)
  3. Just shipped a few minutes ago. It was really fun stuffing the box full of lots of goodies.
  4. I would like to play too! Signe me up Ax Man.
  5. TUNNEL RUNNER FTW ! Haven't said that in at least 48 hours. phew! That was a tough stretch. (Oh, and Fathom too.) (I know there's no shooting. I just like to say I love them, and I like to say it often.)
  6. If I can ask a serious question... Which ass cheek is your "Crash Bandicoot" tattoo on? (If I am facing your ass, just to make it easier for clarification purposes.)
  7. I have both. Whenever I get a game I ALWAYS get it for the 360. I like the controller better, games play and for some reason, look better, I like achievements over trophies and I like the online gameplay with Live better than PlayStation network. Xbox exclusives are much better than PS3 exclusives as well. Halo, Gears of War, Fable, Left 4 Dead, Prey, Alan Wake, Viva Pinata, etc. I've played Uncharted 2, God of War 3, MLB the Show, and Little Big Planet on it (all excellent games) and that is literally it. I do love it for a Blu Ray player though. I will keep it for Ico, Shaddow of the Collosus and Last Guardian. I love the first two and can't wait for the third. So, my Wii is for my kids, the PS3 is a Blu Ray player that sometimes has a great game released for it, the 360 is a nonstop gaming machine. The new 360's are much quieter by the way. The old ones are pretty damn loud and when I play the PS3 the silence is a beautiful thing, but the new 360's are just as quiet. The backwards compatibility of the 360 is another perk that the PS3 abandoned for some reason. And that's just stupid.
  8. Berenstain Bears with tapes. I also have decided that Espial should be a rarity 11. NTSC Obelix. Out of Control, Boing, Halloween, Rescue Terra... You know, all the cheap stuff...
  9. ACTIVISION! lol! Reading the whole subject line and the actual thread is for losers. Cool kids just scream Tunnel Runner! Wherever they can. TUNNEL RUNNER ! ! ! (Megamania as a kid, HERO after I was all grown up and junk.)
  10. TUNNEL RUNNER ! ahhhh... it's been weeks since I did that....
  11. PSP System 1001. I think I bought it at launch? If not, pretty darn close. I can post pix if anyone wants them. Looking to get $150 shipped to US Nice clean system that I bought new myself. Very low mileage. Has everything it came with when I bought it new including the box. (AC adaptor, pouch thingy, etc. No scratches of anything. A few pixels are blue. Very tiny and you can only see them when the screen is all black. It was born that way, and I never cared. Games: Hot Shots Golf Hot Shots Golf 2 Patapon Loco Roco 2 Me and my Katamari MX vs. ATV Socom US Navy Seals 2 Untold Legends Valhalla Knights PM me if you want it.
  12. Seriously! Grab them now. It was a long search to find mine.
  13. GameFly. I used to buy new games. Then I realized that $240 for four games is crazy. $240 a year gets me three games out at a time for year on GameFly. I play more Xbox 360 now than I did before. I get new releases 2 to 3 days after they are released. I will never go back. (I did buy Mario Galaxy for the Wii though because my son plays all the time.)
  14. In order of release: Thanks to the beauty that is gamefly, I will be playing all of the following (the one's I am most looking forward to are bold) Halo Reach Dead Rising 2 Enslaved : Odyssey to the West Medal of Honor Fallout : New Vegas Fable III Star Wars : The Force Unleashed 2 Call of Duty Black Ops Assassin's Creed Brotherhood DK Country Returns Epic Mickey Next Year: Dead Space 2 Gears of War 3 Finally a reason to turn on my PS3 with Last Guardian
  15. Shoot me directions! LOL I'd still love to make these. I keep fogetting. I've owed you those for like a year now. I will send them... this is my solemn vow! If you do go with cart holders that were on the market back in the day, make sure you have a complete bottom to the shelf. Slots work nice until you try to put in an M-Network cart. Or forget it if you are just stacking.
  16. I looked forever, until I finally gave in and made my own. http://www.atariage.com/forums/topic/146263-therealred5s-man-cave-of-atari-fun-and-love/
  17. I do like the picture labels a whole lot. Sears text labels are incredibly boring to collect though. Cannon Man was fun because it is rare and interesting to hunt for, but the rest are super blah. I love the Gunslinger label and Poker Plus and Black Jack are interesting and 70's sexy. Baseball and Basektball were a pain to find too but cool pics. What sucked though was collecting the non-unique picture labels. Not very fun scouring ebay auctions for the minor variation in the label on games llike night driver, missile command, demons to diamonds, adventure, berzerk, etc. The hardest by far to get in the last few years was Gunslinger, Basketball Pics and Cannon Man.
  18. I was lazy. Used the iphone with no light. It helps show my hatred of Sears labels though. (Although the Gunslinger label is so very sexy.) I will put Cincynoti on on ignore until this thread dies. (Unless I find a Superman pic label in the next few days. There are always Tag Sales tomorrow. The dream lives on.)
  19. Finally. Cart #573 in the old 2600 collection would be Sears Night Driver Picture Label which completes the Sears labels. Stupid Sears. I hate you Sears labels. I hate you with a passion. I also refuse to believe in the Superman Picture label. (Yes, I know it really exists, I just refuse to believe it does for my own sanity. Kind of like how I finished my Imagic labels because I don't believe in Atlantis 2. Also, the first person to say the "b" word gets my shoe in their ass. (I do have lots of Sears boxes, but nowhere near all of them. Leave me alone. Anyway, who are we kidding, as collectors it's fun to scream "Look at me!" I haven't got to do it in a while, so LOOK AT ME ! ! ! The pretty picture labels: And the obligatory picture of the ugle text carts: So here's a great big F YOU to Sears. I hate you and I am done with you. Harrass me no longer !
  20. I am never leaving home again. Can you guys please stop doing all the really fun and cool stuff when I'm away? Damn you all! I may be at the bottom of the waiting list, but at least I am on the waiting list... but I am not a patient man.
  21. Wow. This is why I love collecting Atari. Now I just have to collect this! PLEASE make more carts. Pretty pretty please!

    Limbo

I think it's brilliant. Every now and then, someone realizes that a video game can be art. Mario is a puking of bright colors designed to please the masses. I understand that some people like "The Master of Light" guy and go to those mall stores to look at the purdy pictures and think it's amazing art. Some people think dead people like Bogart and James Dean sitting in a diner is brilliant. Others will go to a museum and look at Picasso and Dali and see a different deeper kind of art and beauty that requires taking a lot more in to appreciate it. Both are fine. To each their own. I love games that try to be different and artistic. Give me games like Braid, Limbo, Ico, Shadow of the Collossus, and Okami any day over Mario Rainbow Mushroom Stomp. Played it last night. I can't wait to play it again.
