If anyone here has any rare games that they want to sell to me for under the Ebay value that would be awesome so I can exploit you and make a profit. (Wait, let me guess, he found another one in the meantime and this is the double. )

BBBBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ! ! ! !

Finished it. Brilliant and a must play. A bit of a hole left at the end but over all just fantastic. If it wasn't a game, it would have been an awesome movie. Try not to read or hear anything about the story because you do not want to be spoiled at all with this one.

This statement convinced me to for sure use my giftcard for this game!!! I think you will like it. The story is really good. I don't think I can name another game that I have been this emotionally invested in. When the story calls for your character to panic, you will panic right along with him. There are glaring issues that should piss you off that I sated above, but they are instantly forgiven as the story simply pulls you in and doesn't let go. My wife, who puts up with my video game habbit, who plays nothing other than Peggle, Bejeweled or maybe an ocassional round of Diner Dash has, for the first time in years, sat by my side and watched every minute. THAT is saying a lot. The first hour is pretty dry and tedious, but so far the reward for sticking with it after that initial hour has been incredible.

It's worth it for the text label bowling alone! But you also get Air Sea Battle! If I wasn't lucky enough to have those already, I'd be all over this.

I was pretty sure I would hate this game. Having just finished Mass Effect 2, I started Bioshock 2. Heavy Rain arrived on Wednesday and having not turned on my PS3 in many moons, I decided to give the 360 a rest and give Heavy Rain a quick look. Well, I was wrong about hating it. This game has officially trumped BioShock 2. I can't put it down. Yes, the controls suck balls and are WAAAYYY wonky when walking around trying to look at things. A run button would have made me pretty damn happy too. Yes, the game is like 75% push the correct button when it pops up on the screen. The other 25% is a "Choose Your Own Adventure" book. Yes, the acting is laughable at times because the people are trying to fake American Accents and sometimes it is just really really bad. The acting is fine. You just pretend that all the characters have migrated to America from Koosbarkfrancistan. However, the story is simply mind blowing and it is really fun investigating and seeing what outcome your choices create. This is why I always wind up with a PS system, for games like this. The Katamari, ICO, Shadow of the Collosus, unique weird games with an artsy style that blow you away from beginning to end. I think this is the type of game that the PS3 desperately needed to make Xbox fans like me finally fall in love with their PS3. I would dare say that if you have a PS3 this is a must have. My 360 can take a well deserved nap as I play the hell out of this game.

Ahhh... the ever elusive NTSC Glacier Patrol. I have been looking for Universal Chaos forever myself.

Digging this thread up from it's not so shallow grave... Mine is on my way... huzzah! Are there any good sites with a list of the most recent updated emus and others that are not installed out of the box like MAME and Stella?

Ahoy! What says happy Valentines Day better than a Vectrex Game? (ends tonight...)

It is very very very rare and depending on what kind of documentation you have (and believe it or not, even the box it was shipped to you in) the value can increase incredibly. If you have no documentation, and were looking to sell it, you would have to open it up to prove it is the real deal because they can be fairly easily duplicated by those that know how. If it is proven to be legit though, and depending on the documentation, you have an incredibly rare gem worth $,$$$.$$.

Just watched the video review and they addressed my concerns with the control and game play.(apparently my concerns were shared by many) The review states this is NOT one big quick time event. You cannot die by making a wrong choice. You wont replay scenes over and over!! All great news to me. I may be getting this title sooner than I thought. I agree, but I am still finishing Mass Effect 2, have Bioshock 2 on the pile to start next and then Alien v. Predator scares me with it's potential. With any luck Alien v. Predator will get crappy reviews and I can get right to Heavy Rain. Of course, I have to fly through that because then we have Final Fantasy XIII and God of War III. Finish those in time for Splinter Cell and Read Dead Redemption in April.... whew... I'm already exhausted thinking about it. Hopefully after that there will be some kind of lull and I can go back and finally play games I skipped like Dragon Age Origins and Uncharted 2. What happened to the winter / spring "off season"? I guess I can't complain, but damn, this is pretty crazy, no?

Even if it smells of smoke, the smell will go away over time. It is definitely worth $200. If it all works, you got yourself a bargain. -

Price Check: Atari Video Music, 7800, Sears & 48 Games
Red 5 replied to VectorGamer's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
I would say that is a pretty good price. If that Video Music works they usually go for $125 on a bad day and $175 on a good day. If anyone has a working Atari Video Music they are willing to sell for $40, please let me know. I will buy as many as you have. -
How many hours? Just curious.

Sears Baseball Picture Label in this lot (not mine)
Red 5 replied to Red 5's topic in Auction Central
No "Atari" in the auction title is a giant glaring newb error, but damn! I should have grabbed it just to add to my trade pile.
