  1. The Zapruder Film of AtariAge ! If this is an April Fool's joke or not, I still believe the story is true. Nobody has ever explained to me in a convincing way why the story would be made up to begin with. Where would the joke be? Unless whoever invented the story would have thought that a bunch of video game geeks like us would be discussing it into the next century... then it's a pretty damn good joke I guess.
  2. I know, I know, but I thought I'd share a laugh. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...8180224847&rd=1 Game Program (x2), and JOEL (2 Joel games). I love 'Game Program' but I haven't played any Joel games. Are they rare?

  4. I ordered a bunch of games from Jofu as well. Great guy, great deals and EXCELLENT shipping and communication. (I am the proud new owner of Road Runner and Slot Machine both boxed with instructions as well as Spy Hunter and a few others) He has a ton of great stuff left so don't miss out ! Lots of boxes too. Thanks again ! ! ! ! ! ! !
  5. I just wanted the 30 or 40 games I had as a kid too. 5 years and 300 + carts later... Beware the addiction !
  6. Well, Xbox 2 hasn't officially been announced yet either. They are waiting for E3. However, I would expect both xbox 2 (360) to be announced and 2 great release titles (morrowind and Half Life 2) to be announced as well. ...shhhhhh...
  7. http://news.teamxbox.com/xbox/7878/The-Eld...on-Screenshots/ If this is the case, I will once again be in line at midnight at Xbox 2's('360' 'next' whatever the name will be) launch. How amazing does that look ! ? !

    beware of

I love how he covers his tracks so well by stating: "this is a spikes peak game for the atari 2600 is in great shape i had two this is the last one" Hysterical.
  9. After all the controversey that happened last time, I would be very careful about spending any sort of money on Air Raid. From all the 'in between NTSC and PAL' to nobody ever seeing a box for it or knowing anything about the maker(s) I don't know what to believe about it anymore. (Right about now, shouldn't someone be popping in here claiming they have 9 or 10 of them?)
  10. It's tough to come up with a non-violent game considering Mario squashing a mushroom might be considered violent to some I guess. However, I have played the most violent video games (according to the censors and parent activist groups) from Doom back in the day, to GTA and RE4 these days. In video games over the last 30 years of my life I , killed millions of aliens, terrorists, soldies, monsters, mushrooms, turtles, animals, beasts, mythological creatures, eggs and pickles, blue ghosts, invaders from space, creatures from hell, innocent bystanders, bowties, diamonds, irons, hamburgers, and even dice. I have killed with lasers, every gun real and fictional known to man, missiles and various grenades. I have killed by crashing planes, cars, buses, trucks, and motorcycles, xwings, and tie fighters into things. I have been a sniper, a run and gunner, a grenadier, a space ship pilot, a wizard who needs food...badly, and even a yellow circle with a mouth that uncontrollable ate dots. I have saved the world millions of times and caused it's demise thousands of others. I have been spiderman, superman, random x-men, various cowboys, a small square with an arrow for a sword, and the simpsons. I even played Strip poker with pixleated women on a C64 when I was 13 and nobody was looking. All that, and now I am a 34 year old married adult with a great kid and a job with the government. I have never owned a gun or thought of purchasing one, nevermind using one to shoot up a building. I have never been arrested or been in a car accident (where I was driving) for that matter. I have never acted out any video game I have ever played. Perhaps I have never done these things BECAUSE I get to do them in video games? Although I'm sure I wouldn't anyway, but for some it could be a release of stress. As a side note, I also laughed hysterically (and still do) whenever Elmer Fudd blasts Daffy Ducks beak off with a point blank shot with his shotgun. I also laugh whenever Wile E. Coyote falls off a cliff or explodes with his own TNT. Today, we would neves see Patrick Star stick a shotgun in Spongebob's mouth and pull the trigger. Yet as a kid, I saw it a zillion times on the Warner Bros. Acme cartoon hour. But that's a bit off topic. Anyway, you can use me as one example if you'd like. Your going to have your hands full with this one. Good luck, and let us know how it turns out. By the way, I think Breakout could be considered non violent.
  11. The biggest sleeper in video game history is... Beyond Good And Evil. One of the best games I have ever played. Under $20 new. A must have.
  12. Sorry for the confusion. Everything is loose unless otherwise noted. The Mouse Trap red label is just the cart. As for the items I want, I am just looking for the loose carts. No boxes necessary. Label condition isn't that important as long as the labels are not missing.

  14. Stingray: For Gameboy Advanced, Zelda Minish Cap is one of the best Zelda games ever made. Not just for GBA, but I would put it in the top 5 Zelda games ever made easily. And like I said in my original post, each game stands on its own and you don't have to worry about the chronology to enjoy the story at all.
  15. Just came here to post it too. It hurts. The Atari Karts game alone is worth the $60. HURRY UP JAG FANS !
  16. Very cool. The game and the Lego Phoenix. Now really impress me and make a lego 'Fiery Phoenix' "Transmute!"
  17. Pretty much every Zelda game is great. (With the exception of the CD-i games. They are not just bad, but could honestly be the worst games ever made.) The chronological order skips around a lot. Chronologically, Ocarina of Time for N64 is the first game. Also the best IMHO. Also, many people say that Adventures of Link (Zelda 2 for the NES) would be last in the series chronologically. As the story shifts so much, there is no real order you have to play them in. They all work great on their own. Best Zelda games to me: Ocarina of Time (N64) Majora's Mask (N64) Adventure's of Link (NES) Minish Cap (GBA) Link to the Past (SNES) Windwaker (GBA) Here is a link to all Zelda games in the order they were released. http://www.planetnintendo.com/nindb/fran/zelda.shtml Here is one of the many debates of the chronological order of Zelda games: http://www.ganonstower.com/j1499.shtml
  18. While I agree that there are many games that should be in the Hall of Fame before Halo, I think they may have been trying to put a modern game in there to attract all generations of gamers. And like Halo or hate it, it's hard to argue with this: Thursday 11th November 2004 HALO 2 IS 'BIGGEST ENTERTAINMENT LAUNCH EVER' 10:52 Halo 2 raked in over $125 million in its first day on sale in the US, making it the most successful entertainment launch ever. That means it's been more successful than any movie or music release in history. To put things in perspective, the highest grossing movie at the US box office ever - Titanic - took $600 million during the course of its screen run. Halo 2 has taken over a sixth of this in one day. The news will come as sweet validation to Xbox corporate vice president Peter Moore, who boldly stated on Tuesday that he was "calling a $100 million day on Halo 2." But even he seems stunned by the actual takings: "The first 24 hours of Halo 2 sales have taken our breath away." US retailers had 1.5 million pre-orders totalling around $78 million for Halo 2 and by the end of the first day an additional 900,000 copies were shifted.
  19. Another story on it here: http://www.cnn.com/2005/TECH/fun.games/03/...e.ap/index.html
  20. I wouldn't be shocked at all if Half Life 2 wasn't released as a launch title for Xbox "2".
  21. Keystone Kapers. $10 for the lot would be the most I would pay I think.
