I think we can all agree that small Brazilian boxes are great.
Wait, what were we talking about again?

-B
Lol!!
-
I like the tiny box idea... I love the small boxes some Brazilian carts came in.

All these are now spoken for... thanks for looking!
I've acquired a whole bunch of the Lightspan educational games for the PS1. Each one is in its sleeve with the instructions in the pocket on the back; all are in good condition except for having "Title 1" and a number written on the front in Sharpie. There are: 2x str.at.e.s Match-A-Batch!, 2x Calamity: The Natural World, 2x Calamity: People and Traditions, 6x Math Gallery: Collection 1, 7x Math Gallery: Collection 2, 5x The Quaddle Family Mysteries: The Case of the Scarce Scarab: Lobby/Kitchen, 5x The Quaddle Family Mysteries: The Case of the Scarce Scarab: Parlor/Family Room, 4x P.K.'s Place: Party on the Patio, 2x P.K.'s Place: Hoopo at Sea!, and 2x P.K.'s Place: Daphne and the Seventh Wonder! (one of which has an additional word "Jasper" written on the front). $1 each plus actual shipping (including cost of packaging). Buy them all and I'll make you a deal!

My fave is called Hatris
I'm a big fan of Hatris too... keep meaning to make a video to send to TG, cause I can totally beat the high score.

*stares longingly at the gray Hangman box*
So who actually has one of these besides this one (the pic on Atarimania appears to be a scan of this copy, so I don't think I've ever seen another one)?
-
No problem... I've never made it terribly obvious.

Hopefully I'll be done with 2009 within a week or so... oh, and I'm a she, just for future reference.

I printed it at home on my ink jet printer using glossy photo paper. I used a template that separates the box into two parts, so i was able to print each on 8.5 x 11. The color/quality of my ink jet printer sucks. The photos actually make the box look better than it actually was -- the black printed a dark smokey grayish color, even though I set the color to 100% black. Go figure.
I printed it using "Fine Quality/High Res" so, needless to say, it used a lot of ink

Ok, yeah, you definitely need to make some of these to sell, if only to pay for the ink from test prints!

-
Did you print that yourself or take it somewhere? And was it on white paper? And if so, how much ink did that take?!

I always liked Tetrisphere for the N64, but the NES version is awesome, too.
Yeah, I'm a huge fan of Tetrisphere, too. When it came out it was set up for demo play at Toys R Us... after about five minutes I stopped playing, bought it, and went home and played more.
Unfortunately I don't have that copy anymore... it's one of the games that got lost when we moved (the others were Columns III for the Genesis and SNES Starfox). I couldn't live without it, though, so I bought another copy. -
On that topic, I was playing Geneforge from Spiderweb Software - it's a really cool turn-based fantasy RPG in a unique setting. Definitely check out the demo.
All of Spiderweb's stuff is great... I've been playing their games since the original Exile came out 15 or so years ago. Anyone who hasn't tried their games needs to.

Sold me a bunch of games, all arrived quickly and well-packaged!

The window is usually open all day at work, but I'm only looking at it a little bit of the time -- as a sysadmin, there are lots of times where I'm waiting for something to finish, so it's during those times that I'm actually reading/posting.
-
Yeah, I just saw this... saw the pic and was all amazed, then saw that of course it's not in the lot anymore.

Sears heavy sixer... love the silver faceplate and have always thought the Sears woodgrain looked much better than the Atari version. The Junior is very nice too.

Pigeon Forge, only 30 miles away.

Oh right, I think we talked about this before.

-
Hey, does that mean you live here?
-
For plain vanilla original Tetris, the Mac version was always my favorite. Of all versions ever, I think I like The New Tetris for N64 best. I was just wondering the other day how many hours I've put into various versions of Tetris over the years... must be many hundreds, if not thousands.
-
I'd be curious to see one in yellow... I'm sure it's very bright, but I think it would still look good. I think the Haunted House one is my favorite so far.
-
Gyruss and Q*Bert. I also like Spider-Man, even though it can be very frustrating.
-
These look amazing! Just a couple of things... Donkey Kong says "saver" instead of "save" on the back, and why are the chalice and the dragon green and orange instead of yellow?

-
I'm also impressed that you completed "Contra Hard Corps". It lives up to its title.
Yeah, I've never gotten anywhere in that one... need to sit down and make an effort, and need to go back and work on The Alien Wars, which I've gotten farther into but not finished.
-
Dragon Age (not the D&D ruleset, but not far off).
Dragon Age is a really great game... anyone who hasn't played it needs to.

-
You can probably find dozens of references I've made to Champions of Norrath and BG:DA on aa. Huge fan.
This could be another thread, but Torchlight is coming to consoles this spring as a downloadable title. I'm super psyched.
Ooh... I didn't know anything about Torchlight before... just looked it up and now I'm super psyched too. Have you played Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel? You definitely should if you haven't.

Now you need to play The Thousand-Year Door for GameCube! They're both such fantastic games.
