Yeah, I've never gotten anywhere in that one... need to sit down and make an effort, and need to go back and work on The Alien Wars, which I've gotten farther into but not finished.

Dragon Age is a really great game... anyone who hasn't played it needs to.
-
Ooh... I didn't know anything about Torchlight before... just looked it up and now I'm super psyched too. Have you played Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel? You definitely should if you haven't.

You need the German UV light to erase a PAL cart, of course... different frequencies.

Great stuff!

Those are nifty... I hope TN picks up on the classic-game-scratcher thing sometime. -
The Official "Thrift finds" Thread
pinball22 replied to Happy_Dude's topic in Classic Console Discussion
Newest thing I've gotten at a thrift was a Tony Hawk game for PSP... still sealed, for $1.91. Awesome find on the Rock Band! -
Puzzle Pirates! It's casual games and an MMO all at once! Plants vs. Zombies (played it through a gazillion times on the iPhone, just got the 360 version) Words With Friends (if you want to play, PM me your name!) Word Whomp Whackdown (on Pogo) Whatever there's a badge in at the time on Pogo

I get it more in my legs... and I first noticed it playing Super Mario 64, so I tend to call it Mario legs. It happens, like you said, when I'm in danger of falling from something high up in a game. I get motion-sick, too, but that's a very different thing. (One that happens a lot and keeps me from playing a lot of FPS-type games, unfortunately.)

Very cool... she's now my iPhone wallpaper.

I actually really like the NEX, but it does have compatibility issues with some (still not a huge number) of games. I don't have an exact list, but I wouldn't give up on the thing -- most games will work fine. I use mine as my primary NES... love having the Famicom slot.

Got it, but it doesn't seem to be working... it shows the opening screen for a few seconds, then goes to the OpenFeint screen, then just sits there. Nowhere I touch seems to do anything. I'm wondering if it's because I haven't upgraded to iOS 4 yet.

Got it after reading this... very cool. Is it just me or can you shoot faster? Saw socalmike's name on the all-time high scores list.

So your bid is $206620865427611242404260062442000828488460446482 ? I don't think you have that much money! Fine, fine, binary to text. $136 Lol... I was just about to say the same thing, that I didn't think Ax had around 2 quattuordecillion dollars! [if you don't understand what's going on here, raise your hand and I'll explain.] -
I left Pressure Cooker and Crackpots out of my list... they should be there. There are just way too many awesome Activision games.

Seconds for Truxton and Rolling Thunder 2... shouldn't have left them off my list! -

Alisia Dragoon, Columns III (so much better than the original!), Rampart (some people hate this because it's not quite like the arcade, but I think it's actually more fun), Gunstar Heroes, Starflight (one of my favorite games ever... watch for battery failure, though), Phantom 2040. -
How *not* to store your handheld games

That's an impressive layer of dust! Definitely put up some post-revival pics. -
I actually really really enjoyed the Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance games. Yes, they're mindless hack'n'slash, but done in a way that's incredibly fun. I'd love for there to be sequels.

Robotron 64 Rocks. Listen to these people. (And read my sig.)

I have the clear glasses... got them as my Geek Points reward from ThinkGeek. They're real glass, and look nice... now I need a shelf to put them on.

Cool... I hadn't seen that one before.
