  1. If you wanted to really go nuts, you can do what I did, and do a famicom to 72 pin adapter, then play nes games on it... man was that uncomfortable to play!

I used to play NES games that way too... was really annoying when I'd accidentally bump the cart!

  2. Ogre Battle, Tactics Ogre, Beyond the Beyond, and Wild Arms for the PS1.

Total price... $14 and change.

    :o

    PICS!

    P.S.

I've been telling a few people from TN that we should have a TN AA meet up some time. (this will need a new thread)

Pics will be taken tonight... didn't get around to taking them last night but had to go ahead and share. :) And yeah, I think there should definitely be a TN AA gathering.

  3.

yeah i guess it is :) (busted!)

depends if you read it as 'Nintendo 64' or 'N64'

Oh, yeah... I was assuming reading it as "N64"... of course it would be the other way if you actually read it as Nintendo 64. :)

  4. When people make mistakes do you ever just give them a kind word. I've posted the wrong pics in a bulk upload, and no one told me for a week. Some sellers would appreciate knowing (when it is clearly a mistake). Just a thought.

I do... I've let sellers know nicely they've got the wrong pic up, or a CV game labeled as 2600, etc.

  5. The Donkey Kong Circus goes for quite a bit (at some point they've sold for something approaching $1K new, and there's someone trying to get over $800 Australian for one right now), though there aren't any recent completed sales on eBay. I'd expect those to be worth at least $200 each, assuming they're really working. Boxing not as much, but still worth at least $50 in that condition -- a loose one recently sold for $32. What I want to know is how the heck Goodwill ended up with three of each CIB.

  6. As I've mentioned in other threads, I have Atari dreams all the time, generally about finding awesome stuff that doesn't exist in reality. Had another one last night -- there was this really cool Sears plastic tray thing that you were supposed to set your console on with pics of different games on it. I love Sears stuff, so I was really disappointed to wake up and realize it wasn't real. :)
