  1. Those are nice... wish it wasn't Christmas time when they were listed. I'm under a buying-anything-for-yourself moratorium, else I'd be interested in the Dare Diver.
  2. Never expected that to happen! Hope you won't miss them too much. (BTW, I just recently learned that your name is from Perry Rhodan... it came up in a conversation and I was like "hey, there's a guy on AA named that!")
  3. I've always been a big fan of it... I remember the previously-mentioned commercials being in very heavy rotation for a while when it came out, and I still have my original Sears cart bought back then. I have to agree that it's a very odd premise for a game, though.
  4. I assume eBay has the wrong stock pic... I've been seeing that for at least a year. Was really excited the first time, then realized it was just the wrong pic.
  5. You might want to keep it that way... completely sealed ones are going for $60-$80 on ePay.
  6. Got a bunch of 2600 carts from him... good packing, good price, all great!
  7. Someone mentioned some D&D games... if that counts as a license, then all the gold box games definitely qualify. Another one I really like that no one's mentioned yet is Phantom 2040 for the Genesis (I haven't played the SNES version). I also enjoyed the first Lego Indiana Jones. I've started playing the second one, but it somehow doesn't feel as polished as the first one -- it's like no one made an effort to make sure it all ties together.
  8. Descent makes me motion-sick faster than any other game ever made. If I ever need to induce vomiting, I'll buy the WiiWare version.
  9. None of this is eligible for the top ten, if there were one. Fling Smash (Wii) 120 (resulting in a very sore right triceps... if you play this, do it in smaller doses!) Tetris Party (Wiiware) 120 Scribblenauts (DS) 60 (I can't figure out what to put in the car.)
  10. I'm always amazed how many sellers are clearly lying about the "tested" part. It's not at all uncommon to see a lot of carts that includes CV or Inty or C64 carts that were all supposedly tested in their 2600.
  11. I don't think I've seen the joysticks pictured on that box before. Somebody got a better pic of them? Edit: A quick Google turned up this page with better pics.
  12. Another PM sent, but I'm sure you'll notice.
  13. I'd probably pay $1K for an actual undead cart.
  14. You can absolutely play the C64 version of M.U.L.E. with four players, two joystick and two keyboard. My friends and I spent countless hours doing it in the 80s. With a legit copy... was one of the first things I bought when I got a C64. While it unfortunately didn't have huge sales numbers, it definitely wasn't almost unknown at the time as someone said... I knew I wanted it from magazine ads and reviews.
  15. Superman with hair seems like a good change... Lois with hair looks like she has a bag over her head.
  16. Yeah, I'm going with homemade on these too... and if you just wanted them for their decorativeness, I'd look around more. There are a lot of button makers on eBay with higher-quality stuff.
  17. I have these dreams all the time... like others said, I tend to find carts that don't really exist. Which is always very exciting as I think I've found something incredibly rare... and then I realize it's a dream. (As for the Pitfall II music, I've been regularly finding myself humming it ever since 1984, even at times when I haven't played it in months.)
  18. Wow... I'm not sure I've ever seen any imports in a Goodwill, much less that many!
  19. You... you got a Starmaster Master Patch for $1.99?!?!? Was it on eBay or somewhere else?
  20. Your description made me go check this one out and I've really been enjoying it. What's the highest level you've gotten to?
  21. Yeah, it's definitely worth the effort to find out if those are NTSC... if you knew they were NTSC, then you should leave the Glacier Patrol sealed, but the value difference between "undetermined sealed" and "definitely NTSC opened" is drastic.
  22. I guess if you never looked at an old printer closely you might not know. But you'd think the letters might give him the idea that it's for a printer.
