  1. I had an ebay email sent to me with my ebay user ID on it! It still sounded dodgy though (someone has entered your info incorrectly 3 times pleases confirm...etc. etc.) I sent it to ebay's spoof email and sure enough... it was a fake!! So even if they use your ID be careful! JUZZA
  2. Thanks for help! I just read a post on this forum that was posted just before mine which helped a bit too (they were talking about the hex disk!). I do have another US sunnyvale which is in working order, i think i'll risk chopping and changing the board on that one to see if it solves the joystick problem. Try to make one good one... Thanks again!!! JUZZA
  3. Hi, i recently won an Atari 2600 on ebay(UK) and it turned to be a US sunnyvale(not heavy 6er). The joystick with it sounded ...'clicky!?'... i opened it up and found 4 big springs and a white plastic board, i did a bit of research and was wondering if it could be a 1010J2 joystick? It looks like a standard CX-40. There is also a small hexagonal indent at the top of the stick. http://www.atariguide.com/10/1010.htm Also the sunnyvale has a problem with joystick port 1, even with no joystick it pulls to right no matter what, is it a case of desoldering the port and resoldering on another one? i was gonna swap the whole board but the connector is different to my spares/repairs PAL console. Sorry if any of this is a bit dumb!! Any help greatly appreciated! JUZZA
  4. I think theretrodogg is having a bit of a clear out!!! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...8115395569&rd=1 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...8115397995&rd=1 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...8115399227&rd=1 Juzza

  7. This has just been listed on ebay UK, says mangia wont work, check it out, i know its pretty rare! May be ok for you serious collectors! if not nevermind!!! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...8111358761&rd=1 JUZZA
  8. Thanks again for answering, Almost all 6 switchers in the UK that i have seen are made in Hong Kong, thats why i had to ask. Oh well, at least its something a little bit different for us over here even if it is a standard unit for the US! Cheers!!
  9. Hi, Gonna ask another stupid question! I recently just bought 11 carts from ebay UK for £12.00 (vangauard, pacman, robot tank, pitfall 2....etc...etc...) no box or manuals and one with no label which turned out to be Boing!, didnt know anything about the game 'til i checked it out here and saw it was quite rare. I buy and sell carts on ebay often, my question is does the fact it has no label really hammer down the value/rarity of it? 'coz i'll get people asking me to end the auction early 'coz of the fact it has no label (its happened a few times!). I would like to keep it and start to build up my own collection but....house...wife..etc..! By the way it probably is a PAL cart, cant really tell, and i think it would have had the standard label. Either way i like the game anyway! Sorry to go on!! Thanks for any advice guys!!! Juzza
  10. Thanks for answering, i know it probably sounded like a stupid question to some but in the UK you never see a genuine 'heavy sixer' on ebay or anywhere! ... I checked out the US ebay and theres loads and their cheap too!! I think this is the closest i'll get. Anyway thanks again and forgive my ignorance!!!!! Juzza
  11. Hi! I am from the UK and pretty new to the Atari world! I was wondering if anyone can help me with a question or two? I have bought and sold several Atari's in the past (The 6 switch,4 switch and Jnr. etc.) but recently i have come across a 6 switch CX-2600 model that has "MFG. By ATARI, INC., SUNNYVALE, CA." label underneath it, but i doesnt have the extra plastic moulding round the back or sides and is the same weight as a standard unit (Made in Hong Kong) so its not a heavy sixer, my question is were many made in the US that were like this and what year would it be? Thanks for any help on this!! Juzza
