Doesn't look like a pirate to me. Sorry the pic is so bad. Crappy digital camera. I am a label freak. I get keep every label variation. I think it's pretty cool finding little differences.

In my Atari right now is Chase the Chuckwagon
-
So do you own now 3 or 2?Sorry Matty that I didn't get back to you on that game. I traded my other chase for something else. I got the other one on Ebay so this one is so much sweeter.
As far as keeping it, I will definately keep this one. It certainly is the best cart I have now.
Well, I went to Raleigh, NC. for the weekend for the North Carolina gaming show. (just a side not, that was a big let down) I bought a few games there, nothing great. Anyway, on saturday I am driving home and it is still early enough by the time I got home to go hunting. I figured I would go to my usual places and that's it. My first stop is a thrift store that is pretty big, but they have never had anything real exciting. I did find an unopened ET in there once. So I go back into their "electronics" department and I see a 4 switch on one of the shelves. Of course now I am thinking "where are the carts that came with it"?
I look down and the box of games is sitting there. Right up on top is the Chase, I snatched it up like it was a winning lotto ticket and looked around to tell someone of my score.
There was nothing else there of interest to me so that was the only thing I got. That was the easiest 2 bucks I think I have ever spent.Good luck hunting. Angelo

"Today, I am the luckiest man on the face of the earth" Those words once uttered by my friend Lou Gehrig, were uttered by me earlier today when I found a "Chase the Chuckwagon".
Well....maybe I am not the luckiest man on the earth, but it feels nice to pick up a cart like that for 2 bucks.

Thanks bro....

Just wondering if there was a list of hand-held games. I recently bought 4 of them and was interested to learn more about them.
Thanks for any info.

Some of you guys crack me up.. Most of my friends think I am nuts when I tell them I spent my saturday morning in thrift stores and flea markets looking for games. Then I come to Atariage, or I go into the game room and play yars' revenge for a while, and then I remember why I do it. Anyway, I know it's not as big as philly or vegas but hopefully I will see some of you guys at the Raleigh show.

Well, to say it's nothing special I think is wrong.
A complete and working <---I am assuming..... pong clone from the 70's is a nice addition to any gaming collection. Just my opinion.

I didn't find any 2600 stuff this weekend, but I did find Lynx II, it had the carry case and one game (electrocop) with it. But of course when I got it home it did not work. I think I found the problem though, hopefully a little fixing will get it working.
My best find though this weekend was a colecovision cart called "word feud". Seems to be a pretty good find. from what I can tell its apretty rare cart. Anyway, good luck hunting

Bad News, This Joystick does not work. Going to have to operate to see if I can get it to funciton.

Hello all,
I found a pretty interesting looking Joystick today. It has on the side of it "Video Command" It kind of looks like a cockpit lever of somesort. I don't know if that description makes any sense. It does not have any buttons. I think the way you fire is to push down on the stick. Anyway, does anyone else have one of these joysticks? Or does anyone know what games it goes with. Just wondering, because I don't want to have to go through all of my games trying to find one that it works with. Although that might be kind of fun.
I don't have anyway of getting a pic of it to you guys unfortuately.
Anyway, if anyone has some info. that would be great.

yeah, I didn't think it was an issue of it was off at one point, because both labels are in really nice shape. If someone did take it off they did a nice job. Plus It's both labels that are opposite the norm. Anyway..... Thanks for the responds. Angelo

This past weekend I found like 9 games that I did not have. Plus some nice doubles for trading.
Today, actually I am mailing away one of my trades and I decided to step into one of my usual hunting stops, although usually this guy has nothing but the regulars we all know and love.
BUT, today he has a 6-switch, in real nice shape. Plus 3 more games that I did not have.
Name This Game, Piece O' Cake, Return of the Jedi DSB. I actually have a copy of Name this Game but it has no Labels at all and is hardly working at best, and this one I found today is in real nice shape. (standard case)
I was so happy that he had this stuff, that I bought 4 other activision games that I already had just to show my appreciation for him taking in this stuff.
Anyway, thought I would share my Joy.

I got a realsports Baseball today at a local flea market and the label is opposite of what other carts are. The head of the label faces the closed end of the cart instead of the open end and the end label is also opposite to what other carts have. Just wondering if that was something that was common or maybe a mistake in the batch of carts produced that day or something.
