  1. I finally got some new Sega Master System games yesterday! I haven't gotten any in over a year and I forgot how cool the SMS is. I bought Afterburner, Out Run, and Zillion. This brings my collection to 22. I guess every few months, I switch my main system interest, so perhaps it is back to Master System. Anyway, Sega Master System collecting has gotten kinda lonely here recently. All of the websites appear to be dead or on life support. When I first starting collecting a couple of years ago, there were several excelent sites that really got me interested. Now, there's next to nothing. I can't even remember the last time segamastersystem.com updated. I just don't know what's going on anymore!
  2. Well I have six of them myself! What's more, they are all text labels. Also, my collection is relatively small with only 101 unique games in it. That seems like a high percentage. Also, I always enjoy it when someone puts a copy of Combat on ebay and says that it's rare. I don't think that fools anyone!
  3. My personal favorate is International Soccer. It is actually fast enough to enjoy and exciting enough for two players. Also, I'm a big fan of Bowling because I can usually win when I play against others. I guess my next favorate is Skiing because it is so fast!
  4. Well I don't think there is much danger in the classic gaming community. The people who actually collect will collect and the people who don't will buy the t-shirts. All I know is that I probably wouldn't be a collector without ebay because it made me remember what I had forgotten. Also, it is a great place to get hard to find systems, especially when you live in Arkansas. I don't like to buy games there very often, however, because it is not nearly as exciting as finding them at stores. Also, I would enjoy it if there were to be a good classic gaming magazine because I never get tired of looking at picutres of old games. I just don't quite know what would make for good content. It would probably be best to leave the word "retro" out of it because it sounds much less classy that way. I don't know, that's probably just me.
  5. I love the way Link looks on the old series. He looks like Tony Orlando or something!
  6. I remember loving Hard Driving when I was young. I only played Lynx a couple of times, but that was always the game I wanted to play. I enjoyed the slowness and poor controlls although I can't figure out why. I just never could get through that loop!
  7. Wow, all of your complicated lists are making me jealous! There's nothing I like better than organizing my tiny collection. In some ways I enjoy this more than playing the games, especially since my 2600 is kinda broken. I guess I'm still looking for the perfect organization, and when that happens I'll have to start collecting something else!
  8. I remember that we (my brother and I) did not care for the first one very much. It was actually difficult and we couldn't beat level 2. Then the second one was much easer and we could get to the end easily. It was one of our favorates!

    Gopher

Actually, I can never remember a time when we didn't have Gopher. Aparently my Mom got it in the clearence bin for 2$. She said she really had to work for that money too. It's a shame that all she got for her hard work was Gopher!
