This was a known problem when i got the unit, it has nothing to do with the mod. RF does the same thing.

The picture with the RF switch looked like crap and im too cheap to buy an AV adapter so I found composit and audio left and right on the board and up wired a set of RCA plugs.

Thata what im thinking. But it works now so I won't question it lol. And it is in the first controller slot. Im wondering why it was partially working in slot 2 but nothing in slot 1, oh well.

I plugged the gun in about 10 times and then it finally worked for whatever reason. So all is good.

I know it can use a light gun but why this one wont work I have no idea. How many different guns are there for the Saturn?

I just got rayman about a week ago and finished moding my AV output in my console so I thought Id try my new game out. All I can say is what the hell happened when they made Checkered Flag!??!?! I'm amazed at how good the graphics look on rayman, makes me wonder what they were thinking with some games. I somehow lost track of which system is which and I modded the one with the sound problem. Anyway, after a few min. the sound cuts out. Anyone know where I should start to look for problems?

I recently picked up a Nyko cobra light gun. It has a Saturn and a PS adapter on the cord and im trying to get it to work with Virtua Cop for the Saturn. It will light up when you fire the gun in the 2nd controller slot but it does nothing else. and once the game starts it wont do anything. I feel dumb for asking but im still new to the saturn and I have no idea how to make it work.

That is without a doubt one of the worst racing games i've seen. I often wonder why they put out crap games like that its not like it was any better when it first came out....

It irritating to bump the system slightyly and have it lock up on me. Seems like all I need to do is look at it wrong and it quits working. I'm just surprised at how finicky the system is. I tried electronic cleaner on the cart connector and I sill get random lock ups.

I've had to clean my not dirty carts in order to make them work, but the more I play them the faster im able to get them to work.

I finally got a jaguar. I ended up getting cybermorph, kasumi ninja, checkered flag, and a memory track cartridge with it. I wasn't real happy with the picture quailty of the rf switch so I added some RCA plugs and its a million times better. Is the CD unit worth getting? Are the games always this hard to get working? I cleaned the contacts and they are still picky. And they keep locking up after a while.

I modded my console to use RCA plugs, much easier than having to need another rf switch .

Mosquitos arent that bad, unless of course your neighbor only cuts his grass twice in one summer.... Then you get lots of mosquitos. When he did cut the grass he ran over a pile of rocks that he had put there in the spring lol. I dont think id like to have scorpions in my house though.
