What is your prized item in your Vectrex collection?
Vectrexer replied to the-topdog's topic in Vectrex
Probably the Boxed Protector set from Alex H. But Mr. Boston is up there as well (for obvious reasons. -

The logo is in the final revision.

New cover iteration delivered. Review pics tonight. Update: The new cover is even better than the last one. More form fitting and a better length too! The embroidery looks pretty good as well. Not a Vectrex logo but nice all the same. I have some question back about the kind of logo art that might be acceptable. I think that is the last detail to be ironed out. Here are couple of current pics.

All out for now. -
Your grandchildren should be playing it! Need a multicart loan for a bit too?

Some prototype Vectrex cover pictures. Black is the current cover from Nanny Fabric print is the old cover previously sold by GDG a few years back. (Got mine at a previous CG Expo) Different person from Nanny made the previous fabric print cover. One of the pics show the new cover flipped inside out in case you were wondering about the inside finish.

After a little more consideration I think about 1/4 to 1/2 inch less length would do for the cover. The prototype sent to me was just a little to long. Rather drape than a standing cover.

Sorry about the delays. life got in the way. For the logo I would suggest center front. It's the first place you'll want to see it. And yet a bit loose. But overall good. After the previous emails I would have to agree about the statement being too tight and ill-fitting would be worse than a little loose. Will post some pics later today for the product so far as well as a comparative shot with another cover made earlier by another person. -c

Yea I think my post office lost mine in the distribution plant in Columbus . I have the post office looking for it, but they said the chances of finding it were very slim. I'm just really upset. It's not the seller's fault at all, he's a good guy. I was just really having my hopes up for this as I love playing my VB. I guess I should just get insurance from now on on everything I get here. There's 143 bucks down the drain. Well, at least everything worked out in the end for you with the other I sent out. -
More than one for the pre-order. Count me in too for two.

Definitely less than $200. More like the $140 range. The total costs depends on your location and the payment method you want to use. -

PM me with your address for the total price. I have about eight left out of the batch that I was going to take to CGExpo. A show that is not going to happen this year. These are the one in the boxes. If anyone want two of a sequential serial let me know in your PM. I'll post some pics a little later tonight. -
This is something I have been weighing up; what to do with the dump now I've extracted it. Given I paid a fair bit of money for the chip, then I'd probably want a decent amount of interest upfront before even considering any reproductions. And it depends how much interest there would be for such a thing. It's not a game, it's not a demo, it's just an interesting curio. Therein lies the dilemma. Much that I might release it to the community anyhows, there is still the inherent danger of someone else then profiting from something that should be free... Well some more the of Clear or Red cases are available for the run should you want to make one. What kind of volume would you need to make it worth your while?

hadn't popped in hee for a while. Nice Job Richard! This module answers a storage/usage question since I have the 2600 and the Vectrex. I would guess many people who have a Vectrex also have the 2600. Count me in for one.
