  1. I have been more impressed with the XSX than the PS5, but still both are impressing to some degree. However, both really haven't blown my socks off game wise, and if I had to go out a get a system in the Fall, I would probably get a Switch over these two just because the Switch has more games that I legitimately want to buy and play. Still, I do understand that it is time for consoles to move on to a new generation, but I really don't see a major step up from what the Xbox One or PS4 are doing for the most part.
  2. It looks like a cool little game, especially if it is pretty cheap to pick up.
  3. Gotta admit some of those MSX machines, particularly some Sony models, are dead sexy imo.
  4. CPC is an underrated computer platform imo. Definitely had potential to be a lot more instead of getting a lot of dirty ZX Spectrum ports.
  5. Just my opinion, but the Apple II, C64, and Atari path was probably much better than one involving the Model II. Just saying.
  6. Yes, there is that. But there was a lot of other things that lead to its rapid demise. But, IBM entering the large business/corporate micro computer space and undercutting the crap out of the Model II (and its successors) didn't help, that's for sure.
  7. Another alternate path from the could've, should've, would've files of tech history. Admittingly your faux outline is cool, but while the TRS-80 Model II was a serious piece of machinery it just had way too many flaws when it was released.
  8. Very true. Definitely I will try and avoid all of the non-sense going on, although sometimes that is easier said than done. Still, I look forward to seeing the Amico released and how everything goes after that.
  9. My vote goes for Armor Battle. However, I do dig Armor Battle Tanks. That seems cool too. Thanks!
  10. Something built around a Vampire would be nice. But, hell, just have a device built around Cloanto's Amiga Forever and watch that sell like hotcakes. Also, yes, they did release a standalone unit (https://www.apollo-accelerators.com/#wheretobuy - Vampire V4 Standalone), although one's wallet will take a big hit imo. Definitely the amount of scratch needed for this is out of my price range, lol.
  11. I, too, would like some professional vids showing walk-throughs of the production versions for promotional purposes. Getting a bit tired of all the mud-slinging. At this point I am just waiting for the console and games to be released. Let's get to that and see how everything all shakes out.
  12. A new full size Amiga would be a trip, that's for sure. Also, I think minis are compelling because they are fairly user friendly and straight forward use wise than the original machines. And, of course, they take up less space and (most) have a lot of ways to mod them where they can be loaded up with games. I know my PS Classic is that way as it has 100 PS1 games and a whole bunch of other system cores and ROMs via Retroarch on it.
  13. Yes, I agree, this is low hanging fruit. But, honestly, I am pretty fired up about this as I really dig the look of the Vic over the C64. I am definitely getting this if/when it hits the States.
  14. I IMed them directly yesterday when I saw the posts. They wrote back, "Hi we are working on getting the full sized THEC64 and then this over to the USA ASAP (when) we can." Also, they have stated on other posts that this isn't the last product from Retro Games LTD. I am guessing something Amiga related could be in works too.
  15. Here is my list. It goes: Beauty and the Beast Cosmic Ark Dragonfire Bugertime Tron Deadly Discs Adventure
  16. I enjoyed the video. Also, I gotta say I really liked what was done with the Jag and 3DO ports. Take care and keep up the good work!
  17. We'll see how this works out. Glad to be getting a new Metal Slug, but I would rather this be on the consoles than mobile. However, I understand the decision and wish this project well. Hopefully it lives up to the other entries in the series.
  18. I will have to check this out. I think madlittlepixel does a pretty good job, but I can understand if his style is not for everyone. Also, I believe that this will have drive up interest in the stick itself, too.
  19. So, my list is as follows. It would be: Cloudy Mountain Armor Battle Baseball Bowling Safe Cracker Auto Racing Missile Command Thanks!
  20. Very cool and seems like a good collection to pick up.
  21. Very cool, though it would be nice to have a collection that you could just buy as well besides individual titles. But, then again, maybe they will get there down the road. Let's hope so!
  22. True, AD for consoles might not work out. However, Sony is making a AD edition of the PS5 and it looks like MS is going to give another crack at an AD edition too. Grant, AD editions may not stick, but PC gaming has pretty much gone AD (if I am not mistaken) and consoles look like they are trying to go toward that direction as well. Moreover, isn't the Amico going to be digital to some degree as well? Me, personally, while I do love physical media, it is sadly looking more and more like the ways of the past concerning things such as gaming, TV shows, and/or movies.
  23. Yeah, it is very interesting to see the approaches that MS and Sony are taking this time around. We will see how it all plays out, especially if MS can drop a 'next gen' Xbox console for $199. Still, we can only wait and see at this point as we still have a lot of unanswered questions such as launch titles, price, etc.
