Random spam messages and sketchy URL's sent to my Facebook account are the kinds of things that get me to sway to the other side guys.
You would think with all the information you've acquired since pledging this would have happened a long time ago

Payment is up front at the time of pre-order.
Thanks and one more. How long is the pre-order going for?
-
Do you pay up front for the pre-order or do we get charged when it ships?

Okay, so, they made an announcement that there is going to be an announcement. This is typical Pink Sheets "buy the news" shenanigans to try and tempt people to buy their stock and hopefully bump up the price so they (the company) can sell some of what they hold.
They have been announcing announcements since day 1

Ooh, I would love to see a port of Pheonix. Considering how awesome Demon Attack is compared to the 2600 version I think Pheonix would be great!

yeah - I have some pending sales in the buy and sell forum. I'd rather make sure those go through than voice my opinions fully here.
Smart!

same as it ever was.
Your original post that's in my email was much better

I think what is happening is we older guys are remembering what it was like when we were younger and didn't care about politics ...

Not really seeing as it is from an early run in the original cardboard box/packaging. So a collector that may have missed this version would certainly be interested in it at this price as well as someone who does not want to wait for the next run sometime next year.
Yeah I figured the original packaging would be enticing

wow, that's an expensive SGM

Well good thing they got that 3 million to cover their lawyer fees!
To all the backers,
Atari thanks you!

Yes, I'm very interested in how it works on a Rasberry Pi?
Yes but I believe you have to install Stella from the optional packages which is a more updated Stella. At least that's what I had to do to get the paddles to work.

HDMI? WHY? Some these games require pinpoint timing and need a CRT TV. Imagine playing a "second cycle" round of Lady Bug with some ping. It's possible on the lower levels with patience to beat that level on a CRT TV. Imagine if there was a 33 ms delay like the best TV at the time, the Playtstation 3D Display. I understand the HDMI technology doesn't add ping by its very existence, but it's just that all the TVs that accept HDMI technology use a TV display technology that is not low ping. And I'm not asking for sub-microsecond Light Gun ping for anything except light gun games, which Coleco doesn't have, but Composite outputs would be good for basic CRT TVs and S-Video and Component for more premium ones. Until they attach an HDMI connection to a CRT TV, and it can properly do both 4x3 and 16x9 modes, you should have an alternative.
I've heard of something called an HDMI CRT Adapter which takes an HDMI signal and converts it to component and composite with no delay. Besides, some TVs can't do 240p natively without a conversion process which increases ping which kills the whole point of playing these games.
Eve if I have a low Ping HDMI TV, unless it's both low ping enough for light gun games, and in 3D, I'll need 3 tcs downlstairs, one for 3D movies, one for light gun games,a and one for the rest. I already have 2. A 3D 240p/480i->2160p CRTTV would be the solution. I believe a 24 inch 16x9 screen is smaller than a 4x3 one of the same diagonal. So why not a 24 inch 4k CRT 3D TV, that can go down to 240p for old school games and have the Segascope 3D work too..

I would be really great if someone would report on the paddle functionality of the Retron77.
When I had my Retron77 the reason I got it was for paddle games. I tried 4 sets of paddles that work great on original hardware ... completely unusable on the retron 77 ... there is so much jitter!
-
That would require completely re-designing the board and the casing, not to mention the additional programing for the front end, cores, etc... Not a simple task by any means.
At this point, the last thing I want to do is pile on more work for these guys and more new features will only raise the cost of the console and add more time before it is released. I think "Plan B" would be best just being what is currently offered on Kickstarter, but under the same conditions of a normal homebrew pre-order, and if there is anything additional to be added, it can come later. That's just my two cents.
Yes! Everybody seems to want the kitchen sink in this thing. I'll be happy with the product as is.

I don't know why people keep putting up wishlists as if they have some say in how a product will be produced
You'll get it when you it comes out and it will come with whatever Intellivision decides to put on it. Best part, you don't have to buy it if you don't like it !-

You are attempting to move the goal posts. No one said he was shutting down free speech. He would like to shut down free speech and only have positive comments.
It was an Interview/talk from ReviewTechUSA.
In the Interview Tommy defended Mike Kennedy, saying Kennedy went into Retro VGS with good intentions, and things got out of control. Huge red flag for anyone defending Mike Kennedy. You should be saying what he did was inexcusable, and Intellivision Entertainment will never do that. Tommy said Mike Kennedy is a nice guy and meant well.
At the end of the interview, Tommy says no one is entitled to an opinion until they system is released and they have played it, because he is not doing Kickstarter. He told people to STFU until the system is released, and they have played it (He spelled out STFU, and did not say the F word). Huge red flags when he defends Mike Kennedy, and huge red flag when he doesn't want his system to stand up to free and open discussions.
If your console is great and does all the features they are advertising, then negative comments and haters will be seen as the minority, and the overwhelming positive reactions will determine the reputation of the console. IF you have to try to shut down free speech, it is because you are trying to hide the truth.

Make sure you are using a recent build of jzIntv that supports the -b flag. It was added in the last year, I think.
Ahh, that makes sense. I'm using a Byte Knight flashback.
-
When I add the -b10 or 20 flag non of my roms will open.
This is what I have.
jzintv="/opt/retropie/emulators/jzintv/bin/jzintv -v1 --kbdhackfile=/opt/retropie/emulators/jzintv/hackfile.cfg -f1 -q -z800x600 %ROM%"

I thought I was the only one still using GUIntv occasionally!
I still use it too

That's no longer valid, you need to place a pre-order on the site.My bad, you're probably talking about before the kickstarter
