I would be honest, I was expecting to have more backers than we have at this point
But, I guess it's understandable considering the siize of the Colecovision fan based AND the fact it is a Kickstarter project
I can understand why people might be ''afraid'' to jump in
On another hand, we didn't made this system to make money out of it, it was really made with passion
Done by Colecovision fans, for the fans
The good thing about this is no matter if the project get funded or not, I'll still have one for myself
It's just sad to think people will miss out on a REALL FREAKIN AWESOME project
But again, can't blame them....
Cheers
It's only been a few days. I say start worrying the last week if things don't change.

3 days later on the paypal dispute and he's not even responding to it in any way. It's sitting at "waiting for sellers response". Anyone know how to get paypal to act quicker than waiting a month? Clearly this guy isn't gonna play ball and I'd rather get my money back now than wait another month. Having $100 out for 2 months with nothing to show for it really sucks.

Call them. They work harder for you when you're on the phone.

I gave mine away to a buddy. He's enjoying it.

I like the intro but it's too long. I think intros should be no longer than 5 seconds on youtube.

Damn. Unfortunately I'm out then! Thanks for taking one for the team

Yeah, looks like you reached 10% in 2 days, but momentum will probably be at its height NOW. Probably need to generate more interest for this to get the remaining 90%
Yeah the 30 days is a bit steep. For instance, if I were to back this project I can't do it for the next two months due to expenses so i'm out right away.

Can we please let the AtGames ColecoVision flashback die already. Those ColecoVision flashback controllers are such garbage. If you open it up, its the cheapest of the cheap China crap. They are so low quality, I wouldn't invest any time or money in making anything work with them. You really need to open one up and see how thin the pcb is, how poor the soldering is, and how the wires inside are almost falling off a brand new never used controller. There is no reason to use the CV flashback controllers with anything else besides the CV flashback. I understand original CV controllers are not that good, but there are other solutions to use alternate controllers. The reason they made the system work with SNES controllers and SNES NTT controllers is because SNES controllers are very good quality, and easy find in good condition.
I don't have any issues with the Flashback controllers. They work fine. My only gripe is the nubby stick but other than that I use them from time to time.

I get it. Nutari is a shady company.
It boggles my mind how you can still be a backer after admitting this to yourself

what about support? What kind of support will you be offering if problems arise with the system?

Any plans for sale after the kickstarter? Assuming it gets funded of course.

I've never had any issue with Paypal... AFAIK if the seller can't produce a tracking number it's an automatic win for the buyer. No idea what they do in the case of a crowdfunding campaign though... At least from the negative stuff i've read about Paypal, It's usually the sellers that hate Paypal because Paypal tends to pretty much always side with the buyer.
In my experience, banks and credit cards are really good at having your back. All you need to do is tell them you pledged money and now have suspicion to believe it's a potential scam.
You only have a few months to dispute a paypal purchase so I don't think PayPal would be much help here if they don't deliver.

Does anyone else ever feel guilty about posting in these sorts of threads?
Maybe a member here is already watching an auction for some rare item they've been hunting for ages, and then I post it in here and suddenly there are 50 eyes in it and it's sold. Just me that thinks this?
Yes, especially when it's done on Facebook!

"Designed by Numskull"

Here's a closer look. Subsequent comments: "So this is the Ataribox!" "No, this actually exists."
You only have to pay $29.99 for $50.00 worth of fun!

I understand there's the 'status' of owning a launch edition
Again I ask, what the hell does Launch Edition mean and have companies ever used this term or is this just something people put in their ebay auctions to spice up their goods???

Yeah mine is like that too but more severe than yours especially on Cloudy Mountain. And like you, on the computer it looks fine but on my retropie running through a CRT some of the games have alignment issues.
