Great!!!!....now I'm craving a Slurpee

-
I got the C-380 Pinball for X-Mas before I got my 2600. It was alot of fun to play with the pinball flipper controls at the sides. 4-5 pinball games, 2 Beakout games and rebound (ponging a ball into a hoop - ala basketball - but only one player).
One of these days I buy it again.
BTW - it ran of batteries or ac adapter.
-
I really hated Star Raiders as a kid and refused to rebuy it as an Adult. I don't think I ever got past Cook. StarMaster is a much more enjoyable game.

Some of the crapping pixs must be cell phones with camaras
-
That's a really great idea on the scanning....
-
Nice pickups.
It's too bad Crazy Climber is such a frecking rare game, cause it was fun to play.
-
I'm sure he could. I'll take one too!

Yeah....I'll get that cart too. Looks fun.

Earlier in June, I placed a massive order with Jeff to regain my Childhood Atari System back. As most of you know, Jeff went through a real rough spot in his Health and ended up in the Hospital several times. We chatted frequently on the phone in June. During this time I kept telling Jeff, not to worry about this large order, as his health was more important than my Atari system. Jeff kept telling me thanks for "understanding" and that he would "take care of me" with some freebies!

Well, the UPS man arrived, which Jeff shipped 2-day Air, so I could showcase my Atari at my buddy's 3rd July party.
I ripped through the Box. I had ever seen such perfect wrappings. Every item was wrapped in bubble tape, then plastic wrapped. Each control was clean as the day it was opened in the late 1970's. The crown jewel was my Mod'd Heavy Sixer. I know some of you might cringe at that, but since the unit was missing the labels on the bottom, Jeff didn't mind modifying a Heavy Sixer for RCA output. That sucker looked brand spanking new.
The box with the controls had two extra joysticks and a traxBall thrown in too.The next box I opened were the 60+ games I had played as a kid. Oh how I missed playing those Atari Games.
The final box I opened was Jeff's "Thank You" box. This box was pretty heavy. This box contained over 60+ Free Games!!!!! I was totally blown away.
Tons of Atari, Activision, Imagic, M-Networks, Parker Bros for free carts. If there were more than a couple extra carts of any game on Jeff's shelves, it landed in my box.
Jeff....I wanted to give you a "shout-out" on AtariAge board to THANK YOU so much for your generosity and kindness.
You went above and beyond the call of duty on this one. I'm glad your recovery is going better and your taking some time off to get healthy. Kenwood

You tolerated Swordquest games for 10 minutes each.I was thinking the same thing. Those would have been the last games to enter my VCS slot
-
I know a lot of you on this board collect any rare Atari Game just to add to your collection. I want to play fun games on my Sixer, not collect carts. So....what "FUN" games are there at Rarity 5 and ABOVE?
For me that's:
Beamrider
H.E.R.O.
Miner 2049er
Montezuma's Revenge
Star Wars: The Arcade Game

Alchohol and q-tips work the best by far.RD
You can also use an emory board (nail file) and scap off any of the "Black stuff" on the connectors
-
THat's pretty cool.
It reminds me of the last Rush Concert I went to. They had some dryers going with clothes in em. And several times during the show, a stang hand would have to come out and put more quarters in the dryers to keep em going.
