I have actually thought of running an ad in the paper looking for people who have these to sell.. Have done this in the past with other items, you never know what might surface.

Where are some of your favorite haunts for Atari Games? The local thrift stores have none, the local flea market has some but they are way too much no less than 5.00 per cart. Yard sales yield NES games often but nothing older.

I think the holy grails are still out there waiting to be found.. Classic game collecting is still relatively new, but they are out there to be had. Look at things like sportscards to this day there are still huge lots being found in old warehouses and such. They do not occur as common anymore, but they do still happen.

Well I could imagine a vintage game shop/ vintage Arcade could rake in a good penny or too in a city of over 300K that has a lot of tourists provided they could get a good location at a good price.

Is there a rarity list available for other platforms such as NES, Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo??

Right now there is a london blitz on ebay with no bids for 25.00, it is the only one I could find there including completed auctions so it must be a pretty rare title

I simply learned to play with the old joystick set up until I discoveered the other types of sticks out there especially the one handed versions

I remember beating both Raiders and ET, Raiders seems like it took me a couple of years to do so.. LOL. I never could finish Pitfall

What was your "best value" find for an atari cart?

{i}Our local thrift stores here in East Texas have 2600, NES and Genesis games now and then anywhere from 2 dollars to 50 cents each. Most of them are run by old ladies who file them in with the 8-tracks and cassettes instead of the toys [/i]
Where in East Texas are you from WildBill, I am originally from Texarkana have lived in Tyler too. Now I am in Savannah Georgia.[/i]
