  1. Is the NES 2-in-1 really rare? I have 2 of those, and 3 of the 3-in-1 cartridges for NES also.
  2. They also renamed Saboteur and Stargate.
  3. 4 switch with speaker holes? I thought those were only on the 6 switchers.
  4. Pitfall!(all day) Space Invaders(45 mins - an hour) Asteroids (see above)
  5. My 32" HDTV. Most games on the FB2 won't even work on it, they just roll the screen or come in black and white. I have to use my 20" SDTV.
  6. He probably brought the first 20 he thought people would recognize. 5 or 6 tubs i'm sure you can find some rares.
  7. I had a Defender cart that had graphics glitches, so I took it apart and are wondering if I can re-use this to put a homebrew game on it. Any links to guides on homemade eprom burners? Also, are all Atari games this small? It only took up a small portion of the cartridge case! Edit: I tried taking a pic of the small board, but the flash from the camera made it invisible
  8. By the looks of it, it is definitely a heavy sixer. The only way it wouldn't be is if he took apart the heavy 6'er and switched em with a light 6'ers insides right?
  9. I have had the game Space Attack for a while without knowing how to play it. After reading the manual here on AA, and beating it, I don't really see much left to this game. Just wanted to know what you guys thought of it.
  10. I'm 17 and am a mixed classic/modern video game fan. I am not, however, someone who you would think would be in to things like this. I spend most of my time with my friends getting high or drunk out of my mind, and only have time to play games a few minutes a week. Since I am rarely at home, I usually play whatever my friends have, which is XBOX or newer. Right now is one of the few times I am at home with my 2600, and my friends have been texting me all day trying to get me to go smoke with them. I have my whole life in front of me, I just graduated high school, and my 2 choices are 2600 or being so bombed I don't know my name. What would you pick
  11. Tried that as soon as I read it, made it to 45k first try.
  12. On Asteroids, with everything on the hardest settings, I can still flip the scoreboard. I was just wondering if its this easy for everyone?
  13. Heres the link http://www.atariage.com/software_hints.htm...ftwareHintID=83
  14. Here on Atari Age, under Pac-Man, there is instructions on how to get unlimited lives. I just wanted to know if it has worked for anyone else, because I have not been able to do it. "Eat a ghost on maze 1, two ghosts on maze 2, three ghosts on maze 3, and four ghosts on maze 4. Then, press Up, Down, Up and intentionally lose a life."
  15. I am looking to buy Jr. Pac Man for the 2600, any condition as long as it works.
  16. Let me start off by saying that I am 17. I have always loved old video games and have been collecting them since I can remember. My collection has went backwards though, as I started with the SNES and ended up with a 2600. I don't remember how my love for old games started, but the best of the best in my mind has always been the 2600, ever since my dad first told me about it years back. My parents would never let me get one, telling me that it wasn't what I was thinking it would be, that I would get bored with it after a few minutes of playing, etc. I eventually was sold a light sixer a year or 2 ago with I think 5 games to start my 2600 collection with. Ever since then, I get bored with it after a few months (like my parents said I would) and put it away. Then after another few months I re-discover it, and every time my collection grows. Well, I'm off to beat my Donkey Kong record(around 100,000 if I remember correctly)
  17. On the Atari version it's too hard to get the pieces. I have to walk around in circles for about a minute sometimes to get the last one.
  18. The one on the left is Ben Hecks mod? It looks worse than RF.
  19. When you re-solder it, you flip the motherboard upside down and solder on the underside of the plug?
  20. http://tinypic.com/player.php?v=2j4akvo&s=5 Here's a video of it If getting a better shot of it with a flashlight would help, i'll open it again later and do it.
  21. When I turn on my atari, I also have to jiggle the power chord where it plugs in to the system. When the system is open and the power chord is plugged in, you can easily see the part it plugs in to being able to freely move as you move the power chord. Is there any way to fix this?
