  1. I don't know if it can be done, but a high score for everyone who plays games would be awesome.

This may be just being picky, but its annoying searching for a game and 20 of the same title showing up instead of just the original release.

  2. I want a modded atari flashback 2, someone to mod mine, or the parts to mod mine(cartridge connector with guide, dpdt switch, ribbon cable).

I will also pay for one of above if you would like that instead.

These can also be sold(maybe) if you make an offer.

    For trade I have:

Will trade set of flashback 2 controllers(working) for set of original cx-40's(working)

    Clive Barkers: Jericho

    Folklore

    Motorstorm

    Bluetooth headset

  3. Have you ever seen something horrible overpriced for sale? Rant all you want about it here.

At a flea market today, I saw one place selling atari games. They had a 7800 in a plastic bag for exactly $329.99, and common games for $15 each.

  4. My light sixer fades the picture in all of my games.

Is this because it doesn't have the heavy RF shielding that the heavy sixer does?

Here is some pictures I took of my tv screen showing the game running on my light sixer vs my atari flashback 2.

It doesn't bother me that much, I've just been wondering about this for a while.

  5. Space Duel wasnt even a game.

I'd agree with you, speaking of what passed for it on Flashback 2 ;)

I enjoyed it on the flashback, what's wrong with it?

    EDIT:

    Oh, because it's a port from a 7800 game.

  6. I had a dream that I was in a bar, and the bartender is walking around giving away atari games. At the end, he had 2 left, gauntlet and stronghold crusader. He was going to give me stronghold and the guy next to me gauntlet. I told the bartender that I would give him 10 dollars for gauntlet. He gave it to me instead and the guy next to me got stronghold(weird dream, this is a pc game). Then I woke up :(

  7. The ps1 you can burn a copy of the bad disc and play it, you need to buy something that plugs in to the back of the ps1.

The ps2 is a bit harder to play burned copies.

The ps3 is a lot harder than the ps2 at playing burned copies, but it reads games that neither my ps1 or ps2 could read, and the ps3 reads them perfectly.

The dreamcast, can play burned games without needing to mod it or anything, just burn it, put it in the system, and play it.

If you don't want to buy a ps3 or play burned games, you can take the disc to a hollywood video(are these only in florida?), and they usually have an industrial disc cleaner that they use on their discs. They will throw your games in it if the manager isn't around usually.

  8. Whew, a few years ago when I got my first computer, it was made by hand by a guy who used to own a computer business. So it wasn't any name brand, it was just random parts thrown together. I opened it up and found a 34-pin female edge connector that connected a 1.44mb floppy to the motherboard. It has 3 ends. One is the 34 pin edge connector, and the other 2 are black and have really close holes, both female. The 2 that aren't the edge connector were connecting the floppy to the motherboard. I want to know if i can use this for the mod?

Here is a picture to show you what I am talking about.

Something in the picture that you can not see, is that at the edge connector, 2 ribbon cables come from it. One goes to one of the black parts, and the other ribbon cable to the other black parts. It looks like the bottom row of pins goes to one cable, and the top row goes to the other. Will this be a problem when soldering it so to my flashback?

  9. A switch is basically a wire that can be connected and disconnected. If you know what a DPDT switch is and what it does, I'm confident that you can reason through what to do without a switch.

If that connector in the picture is what you're using, how do you intend to plug the cartridge in to it?

I know what a DPDT switch is but not how it works, and the cartridge fits in to the pins on that connector, I don't think that it works though.
