The third socom for psp is called tactical warfare. It is a tactics game meaning you can not move freely, only attack and hope you hit the enemy.

How do you know the name of the joysticks you use (CX-40)? One joystick that came with my light sixer, doesn't turn right, and the other one the button doesn't work every time you push it. The genesis controller works on my light sixer for a couple minutes then stops, but works on my flashback 2. So I use the flashback 2 controllers, CX-42 I think.
Oh and another question if anyone feels like answering it, how much does a heavy sixer weigh?

I know that a lot of you love the game Adventure. I Just wanted to know what you guys find fun about it after beating it so many times that you've lost count?
Sorry if this sounds mean, im just curious.

Which series of army games do you consider the best for this system. I'm talking about Medal Of Honer, Call to Duty, and Brothers In Arms. Those are the only ones I can think of now. Thanks.socom(3 for psp), rainbow six vegas, splinter cell(if you consider it an army game) theres probably more still

I just tried it, and it seems to have worked.

I've had my atari 2600 for a little over a month now, and the picture that shows up on the tv is really fuzzy. I can lightly tap it and the screen will usually clear most of the way up, and sometimes fully, but i'm scared that even how lightly i'm tapping it, that it can hurt the system. It is a light sixer, is there anyway I can easily fix this problem?

DragonmasterDan, yours is a lightsixer.

On my atari flashback 2 console, when I select "asteroids deluxe", it takes me to missile command, when I select missile command, it takes me to missile command.
Is this normal?
UPDATE:
found new problems
adventure 2 redirects to video chess
secret quest produces a blue screen and high pitched noises
lunar lander produces a blue screen and high pitched noises
yars return is unplayable, everything is distored
fatal run produces a blue screen and high pitched noises
space duel redirects to a glitchy human cannonball
off the wall produces black screen no sound
radar lock produces a blue screen and high pitched noises
save mary produces a blue screen and high pitched noises
and of course astreroids delux redirects to missile command
all of these games are completely unplayable, but the few games that redirect to a different game, i can play the game that it had redirected to.
i hear the voice in quadrun though...
...does anyone else have these problems?

I've played the 2600 version of asteroids for years on emulators, and never messed around too much with the game variations. Now that I have a real atari, and an asteroids cartridge, I have been playing it a lot, and put it on the game variation to where pressing back doesn't do a hyperspace, because I am still not used to the atari joystick. Well while playing this variation, I got hit by a UFO, and all the blocks turned green(and me), I couldn't move, or fire. Eventually a block hit me and I was able to fire and move again. Is this supposed to happen, or is it some sort of glitch? I've never seen it before.

Thanks for the replies, it makes since that coming with a nice box and manual would raise its price, not how the game plays. Some other systems, people will price the game on how many people want it, so I was just making sure.

If i buy a homebrew game from atariage, does money go to the developer?
Also, why are some games more expensive than others, the games that were $40 got worse ratings than some at $25.

I know about the high score forums, but I mean flash versions of arcade games are built in to some forums. I thought that would be a good idea for the atariage forums.

I'm posting here, because I am not really sure where else to post it. Please move it if it is in the wrong section.
A lot of forums have an arcade section for their site, with high score boards and games like Asteroids, Space Invaders, etc. It seems like this site would be perfect for an arcade section like this. Just a suggestion.

Maybe a home-made cartridge?
I don't know how hard that would be to do.

I'm thinking of buying an atari 2600. Would spending $50 for a Jr. be a better deal than spending over $100 for an original (EDIT: I see they have 4-switch 2600's for $60 at atari2600.com)? Or does the Jr. have horrible compatibility?

I bought an atari flashback 2 console on ebay, and I want to know if there is anyone on here good at modding, who will mod my flashback 2 console so that it has a cartridge slot. If anyone will, how much will you charge for it? I will pay for all shipping and handling.I got mine modded like that by Ben Heckendorn for a very reasonable price and he did it very quickly. See the following post:

Give him a try.
how did you get in to contact with him?

I used to play an arcade game where you have a line that you move in a large square (or rectangle, I an not sure which) and the goal is to box off, with your line, over 75% if the square. The computer has a 'defender' type of enemy that tries to stop you from taking any area. What you 'box off' turns a different color and you get points based on how fast and how large of areas you box off. After the first level or so, the computer adds a second 'enemy' that tries to stop you. If you get touched by the 'enemy' you die. I remember it being in arcades in the early/mid 80's. Anyone know the name of this game???
