  1. Oh, well. It never hurts to dream. The noly reason I thought it was possible is because of something I read on the stella page. It lists the different ways to get the cart data into the emulator, and one of them is: "If you're handy with a soldering iron then you can design and build a device that plugs into the printer port of a PC and read the data from the cartridge." So, I thought I'd see if it was possible. I guess ill just cut down the atari board as per the clasicgaming.com how to guide, and run it through a video in video card. Thanx for all the help.

  2. I would have an emulator in there also, but for novelties sake i wanted to be able to put the 2600 games that i have carts for into the system, and make like im playing them normally. The idea of having a video card with video in is a good idea, but i would still like to try and make a cart reader. I have the know-how to make one, but not the know-how to design one. I was just wondering if anyone knows of a site that has instructions on how to make a cart reader that the entire cart plugs into, and not just an eprom reader.

  3. I was wondering if it was possible to tear apart a 2600 and use the parts to make a cart reader that could connect to a pc in order to play the game. I want to put a micro-atx motherboard in a 2600 case and turn it into a working computer, but be able to put 2600 games in and be able to play them through the computer. any ideas?
