  1. Mr. Billiards in Allen Park was the best place to hang out

the arcade games were crammed into the place along with many pool tables. the games were comming and going so fast in that place it was hard to get used to just one game because it could be gone the next day

the funny thing is that my mom used to work there when i was a very very little kid

another place was a drug store that had about 7 games in the back area where the bottle returns were placed

this was the first place i could get to easily on a BMX in the early to middle 80's. it had the star wars game and many other classics like donkey kong/Jr and popeye and even crazy kong i think and jungle hunt (it might have had a different name tho). i didnt spend much there because you could lift the plastic screen covers up and out on 4 games then stick your hand down and hit the credit button :D

another place i spent alot of time at in the 90's was called Cushion Cue (i think thats the name) it was above a bowling alley called The Thunderbowl. it onlt had a handfull of games but it had the Golf Tee game with the spin ball.

the bowling alley also had some game in it to. i remember playing Rampage alot there

then the 50 cent a game time came into play which killed almost all the places above. Mr. Billiards was the first to do this and then alot of the games disapeared being replaced by more pool tables and a pool stick store thingy where the games used to be

  2. The problem seems to be getting really bad as of late. For several weeks now, it's seems to be damn near every 20 minutes.

The annoying thing is it's only the forums, not the main site. So it's not even possible to actually do a propper ping/tracert.

ive timed out quite a few times in the past 2 weeks. but when i visit any other website for 2 seconds then come here right after it seems to come up

  3. So it looks like I've been adopted by a cat this past weekend

our neighbor had a cat that wanted outside all the time, so they just left it outside, and it adpoted us by comming in when it was cold. we hardly ever had to feed it because it just ate the dogs food when it was really hungry. the cat lived 17 years before it was hit by a car 5 years ago

right now i have a 9 yr old cat named Precious. thats what her name was when i rescued it from a family that was going to take it to the pound because it didnt get along with their german shepard. it used to be an older ladys lap cat

and a 2 year old dog named Buddy

  7. Interesting, thanks for sharing.

    My pleasure.

I thought It Came from the Desert was a full motion video type game or am I thinking of something else?

Actually, "It" came in several different flavors. The article goes into detail as to why the Genesis version was so different than the others.

I just got done playing the Amiga version And the TG-16 CDa couple of weeks ago.....Still pretty fun.

This was the game that made me buy a TG16CD..when I saw the commercial with actual video in the game..OOHHHAAAWWW!

heh before i sold my TG16-CD system i played it all the way though for the first time and it was the only CD game i had for it. im just glad i played it before selling it as it was the game i saw in the gaming mags back in the day and is the only reason i bought the CD attachment. the guy i sold it to wanted me to test it before shipping it off. i had to email him back to let him know i was having fun with the game and i might be alittle later shipping it than i said. thank god he was cool about it as i didnt want to send it off before i got thought it :D
