At&t has horrible descriptions for the movies they show
i keep getting the description for a movie called chasing ghosts from 2005, so i blindly just set the dvr to record one and bam its the videogame one
on the torrent site they say that copy is a screener or something and isnt complete, but who knows. i will see after i download it

hey are all these places you guys are mentioning the places you bought games as a kid or your parents bought games for you?
i only ask because after i got my Atari 2600 i only got 1 videogame as a christmas present after that (Vanguard)
i can count only 3 videogame related items i got for Xmas or my birthday, my 2600 came with 4 games, Vanguard, and Atari Flashback 2 -- thats it
everything else i had to buy, by doing chores and cutting the grass for cash

I always thought that was odd. Especially since in heated arguments the posts in question are almost always quoted in entirety by a followup (so editing does nothing but make the OP look like a fool...a pointless attempt to backpedal over his own words).not always, ive missed alot of good stuff because people wouldnt quote the person
way back, i would just jump into a thread and quote some juicy stuff if no one had done it yet and leave

im fine with the time limit, i try to read my posts after i hit reply since thats what pops up

but Collector's Cards and Games is a hit and miss website, i placed an order once of like 25 items and they only had 4 of them. i dont know if they remove items or not now but 4 years ago they didnt. you had to make a list and he would get back to you with what he had
ive bought from Goat before, not the website but the guy running it had a 3do deal that he promoted on this site, i might have even got something off ebay fom him but im not sure

humm lets see
early 80's it was "Odd Lots" for Atari 2600 games, just because the store was a block away
late 80's early 90's it was "Toys R Us" - "Big Lots" - and the Gibralter Trade Center for TG16, 7800, NES, and Genesis
Mid 90's to 1999 was - Babbages, Electronics Boutique, Toys R Us, Trade Center, Flea Markets, Pawn Shops.
after 1999 was Internet, Forums, and Ebay

Hey Lemmi, put an "NGS" on the end of your name and you can be a Lemming!
nah its supposed to be " _Is_God " after my name (Lemmi_Is_God) but i didnt want to bring my GOD like status to a videogame forum

heh ive been playing Super Mario World "super mario world advance 2" on my GBAsp for the past 3 months
and after beating the game 3 times i tried to beat bowser the fastest way i knew and it took me 19 minutes on my 3rd try after i figured out what i had to do just to get there fast, i could probably do it alittle faster tho.
i can beat bowser faster than i can beat that last castle, i hate that last castle
now im going though the game again with the big mario heads just going for the 5 coins on each level
i never really done any speedruns but ive watched many over the years

i started collecting when Funcoland opened up here around jan 1997, but before that i still had everything i bought and i would pick up a game or to from the trade center from time to time before 1997.
i had the 7800/2600, Genesis, SNES, NES, TG16, and 2 pong systems
i collected anything that was of reasonable cost, i would pick up anything i didnt already have, and even pass on games i had already on a similar systems (like Dragons Lair, DOOM... etc), but i hardly ever went for doubles unless i forgot i already had it. after i got tired of getting up early (6am because of other collectors) to hit the fleamarkets, i moved to ebay
then i just quit collecting altogether around 2005, and started selling off some stuff this year. i havent even made a dent in my collection selling stuff. i also have atleast 2 or more of every system like the Gen 1/2, sega CDX, Nomad, 3 atari 7800's/2600's each, 2 saturns, 2 jaguars.. etc
since 2005 these are the things i can remember getting
Xbox with 7 games
GBAsp with 13 games -- i got this, this year and i havent stopped playing it
GB color with 25 games
7800 beef drop
GEN beggar prince
3DO decathalon
Vectrex -- now sold
i think thats about it,

It's a CD player with a game console hidden inside. Okay. It came with games but they're not that great and there are titles for it out there.Does anyone have a way to use a different controller or maybe even a keyboard and mouse on this thing?
How about burning games for it? I have been googling around and think I located some iso images for it's emulators, not really sure yet.
Any information about how to make this thing more fun and useful is appreciated!
Nathan
what model did you get and does it have a digital video cart? the DVC is needed for some games and all movies to play
you can make your own VCD movies, or buy some on ebay or gooddealgames has many movies still for sale
you can find cdi games to burn in many places around the net. just like most system use decent CDR's
no keyboards were made for commercial CD-i systems, but a mouse, trackerball (rollerball mouse type controller), a kids Rollerball controller, and 2 different types of handheld corded controllers there might be more but only 2 were readily available in the US. ive had all the above controllers at one time but i recently sold the mouse and trackerball controllers
but if you are serious on buying games to play on the Cd-i you should get the Philips gamepad model number 22ER9021
as seen in the picture. oh there is also a gamegun for the system. i never opened mine and have since sold it off
other good sites for info
http://www.icdia.co.uk/ <--- everything you wanted to know about the CD-i systems but didnt know where to look site

I've never seen this show, but I've heard positive things about it. Definitely want to watch this particular episode, but I see the show is in its second season. Is it worth watching the show from the beginning? The Blu-Ray version of the first season is coming out on November 11th:http://www.amazon.com/Chuck-Complete-First...4055&sr=8-2
The DVD version is available now, but the Blu-Ray version is not significantly more (at least if you pre-order it).
..Al
i think its worth it, ive been watching it since the beginning and i havent missed a show, thats more than i can say for this season of Heroes (which has gone down hill FAST and im finding it a chore to watch all the way though now)
and almost anything with Adam Baldwin in it is good, i like him as an actor i like when he plays and angry/bad ass guy.
also Yvonne Strahovski is HOT. i didnt know how the guy playing chuck would be as an actor but he is pretty good
and the Buy More is a perfect place to have most of the scenes especially when Adam Baldwin starts to work there

if you enjoy a fun show full of Comedy, Action, and Hot girls you will like this show

Ace of AcesF-18 Hornet
Fatal Run
Mean 18
Summer Games
Super Skateboardin'
Water Ski
There anything in there that I can look forward to aside from the three I mentioned above? It looks like a pretty bleak little trudge through the rest of the collection to me.
i took out the games from your list that i havent played yet or didnt like playing and left the ones i liked to play
i played Super Skateboardin' a ton when i first got it, also Mean 18, and i always seem to like the summer/winter game type of games no matter what system they are on. ace of aces is on the border of good/bad as i dont remember spending alot of time with it back in the 90's but F-18 Hornet was really fun and i Aced all the levels

good luck with Conquest of the world, i had a brand new never used one and could only get $20 for it on ebay after the 3rd listing

i found a 2600 Space Invaders cart when i was a kid
and in 1996ish i found a working CD-i 220 with 2 controllers and 8 games (the door doesnt open but taking the top off and manually ejecting the CD works perfect)
i also found a working Soundesign rack system with dual cassette deck and 5 cd carousel about 3 months ago (the only thing missing was the top cover to the CD area)
found 50 vinyl records, and a dildo called sqirmmy (which i put under a near by Vans wiper blade)
i found a mid size pinball machine once when i was about 12, me and my grandpa tinkered with it and got it to work for about 5 months before it stopped working again
when i throw electronics out they are gutted and torn apart (i take the screws and any other part i might use later on)
the last thing i threw out was an old zenith monitor used with a 1982 IBM computer
i took the back off and gutted the wires and junk and stuffed it with a half gallon milk jug filled with water
just for fun
and someone took it
i only stop to check out houses that have tons of stuff on the lawn, most of the time i wont stop and get out unless something catches my eye, and i stop for certain pieces of wood 2x4's, 4x4's, plastic lattice (i found 6 sheets of it this past summer)
