  10. Not many. And even the ones that are, you probably won't want to play too much. There also exists a splitter so you can plug two controllers into one port (I've never seen one in person, so it's probably quite rare, but they DO exist!). By the way, if you do get a CD-i, make sure you get a gamepad too... specifically, the one shown in Lemmi's third picture above. It's pretty expensive (goes for about $30-35 on eBay), but the rest of the CD-i controllers are pretty terrible, which probably contributes to people's low opinion of the games available. --Zero they have 2 player games that alternate turns but not many that both can play at the same time against eachother ive known one other person who had a CDi when he was growing up i think we played battleship and mystic midway a couple of times then we got bored he used the rollerball controller for the midway game and he kicked my butt i hated that thing i got my gamepad new in the box for $35 shipped back in 2004 might be more now i have or had one of those also (i cant find it) the problem with it for me was that the buttons were to deep to do the rolling thumb move like you do with the NES controllers but still alot better than the remotes i had a friend who bought one of those top loaders like the 450 (i cant remember the model) but when he would play movies in it the disc would heat up and stick to the lid when he switched CDs and it smudged the CD art he sent me pics of it and it was the oddest thing ive seen so far with a CDi system here is a closer shot of the Splitter i have - it might only work with philips CDi's i read somewhere people had problems getting it to work on some systems, i think i tried to use it on my LG 700 system and it didnt work, its been so long since i tried i might be wrong tho
  11. heh i was hoping one day to get 200 positives for buying or selling something now thats gone i liked seeing 199 when i checked my ebay page now its 264 and i havent bought anything on ebay since nov 06
  12. my first system was the 220 and i found it in the garbage with 2 controllers and 12 games then i got a Goldstar GDI 1000 which is the same as the philips 450 but my favorite is the LG GDI 700M system its alittle bigger than an Xbox but it looks cool you can see most of the players that have been released here http://www.icdia.co.uk/players/index.html to figure out which one you might like they also make an I/O splitter to play 2 player games, i have one and its to right of the colorful rollerball controller but i think it wont work on some Cdi players
  13. hey there people i have an atari 1050 disk drive that ive only used once, back when i bought it around 1996, since then its been in the box i was wondering what could i get for it? or if anyone would be interested in buying it i need the money, the city is making me replace all the sidewalk blocks and at $50 or $70 a block X 7 blocks to replace = UGH! the games on disk are (im writting whats written on the holder), i only played Berzerk and Choplifter back then Fort Ap. Archon Berzerk Dungeon Quest: temple of apshai Zork Choplifter Brue Lee Shit - nope not kidding thats whats written on it 3 with no markings and the atari master diskette 3 everything in the pic comes with it even the atari 800 switcher thingy and basic language cart shoot offers or let me know what someone not on ebay might pay
  14. well after testing my other problem out the past few days the reloading problem seems to be gone also i thought it might have had something to do with my cookies or IE, but the only thing i messed with was the auto daylight savings time thing and i use this one http://atariage.com/forums
  15. working so far over here, thanks the other problem probably is on my end tho, but that one i can live with
  16. i have the problem with refreshing of the message board, i will visit here check some threads and then go back to my main page google (same IE window open just hitting the back button to start from google) then i go to many other sites and then later (even 10 hours later) i will reload AA messageboard page (not the main page) and it show up at the same time when i left the site 10 hours earlier untill i refresh and if i hit refresh constantly the time jumps back one hour then jumps back to the original time if i did it now it would go to 6:22 then 7:22 back and forth back and forth everytime it doesnt bother me really as ive been dealing with the first problem for aling time, but the time jump is something new to this week or more
  17. if its the same one i got then it isnt in there (mine came with 1 europe manual scan of riddle of the sphinx) and its this version Atari 2600 Manuals V1.00 that version was downloaded in june 2006 i would do it but i cant get my printer/scanner to do anything but flash "E" on the display
  18. How did you know what the highest mark was? Heck, I don't think I even know now what that is I always thought it was possible to touch the ark.. but last I heard (a couple years ago) that wasn't possible? heh i didnt know what the highest mark was but after counting the number of points on the side of the thing that raises you up to the ark it was always the same after awhile i think the number was 21 or 22 something like that. thats how i kept score the game wasnt even mine it was a friends but it was always at my house and over the years it became my game because he never asked for it back the manual is even original because at one time it was folded in half 2 times omg you looked past the warning sign
  19. i beat it back in the mid 80's after talking to a couple of friends we got together and figured it out, our scores sucked at first but after trying many different things we could get the highest mark easlily i havent played the game in ages but i could probably beat it today with no problem, thats how much i played the game in the 80's
  20. i dont feel like making a new shipping thread or looking for the right one so im gonna complain here i just sold something to a guy in Calif. i did the usual calculation on the usps website on saturday (2 days before the prices went up) and i did the calculation for just 2 lbs (the box actually weighed 2lbs 60oz) saturday the priority was $7 for 2 lbs today it was $8.25 for 2lbs for 2 lbs 60oz today its $12.95 for priority on the website but the guy there said that priority would be $11.50 and the guy said parcel post would be $8.12 but the website says $11.72 for the 2 lbs 60oz package the box dimentions dont factor in because they are H-5 1/4 , W-6 1/2 , L-7 1/2 inches so basicly your screwed shipping from michigan to california now i used to only be off by 50 cents in calculating the shipping price from the website, now i have no idea what the real price is anymore ok im done, carry on with your day, i feel alittle better after venting
  21. im on and off when it comes to cleaning my games my 2600 collection hasnt been cleaned in along time, mostly because i havent played a 2600 game in many many years ive cleaned a few NES carts that were just disgusting over the years. i will look at them if i plan to play them and i will clean them before putting them into the system. but since ive mostly played CD games the past 8 years cleaning isnt a hassle with CD games unlike carts. all you need is a soft cloth for most CD games i will clean off stickers and gunk off carts when i buy them, but i wont bother fixing labels or buffing CDs because i wont buy CDs that have major scratches/scuffs. i have very few scuffed up Cds and most are from the early days of collecting and most are on my Sega Cd system
  22. good luck to every one, i will be going to the versus channel transmitter to blow it up i get to see game 2,5 and 6 and 7 if they make it that far
  23. I just checked, but got no results. Perhaps I'm not using the right keyword. dont bother using that search it sucks as it seems to only look for actual games i tried and you would think Converter would pop up if it was mentioned anywhere on the site but it doesnt anyway i found this site instead http://www.famicomworld.com/Articles/NES_Cart_Converters.htm i still have no idea what to look for just by looking at the pins from his diagram
  24. i would guess if you had the CC2 maxed out with a loaded MMC and the chip people might be willing to pay alittle more i saved an extra ballblazer to use the chip in it but i never got around to opening my CC2
