  1. I've always wanted Eli's Ladder before and never got my hands on it, so I watched the auction below very carefully. The seller's name though made me wonder if its real or not. I did send a message to the seller, and he said he got it from an American 10 years ago. I asked him if it was a reproduction or not, and his reply was that he felt it was genuine based on so much interest in it. Anyone who actually has Eli's care to say if its real? Wonder? CPU? If it is real, whoever got it got a great deal in my opinion. Congrats.

  2. I've fixed up lots of NES systems, so I'm well aware of the 72 pin problem, but I have 3 NES systems that are doing really wierd things, and I don't know where to begin. I would really appreciate any advice on how to fix them. Here is a description of each one.

Problem Child NES #1: Picture comes up with a nice 72 pin but the title screen for Super Mario has numbers in it.

Problem Child NES #2: Picture comes up with a nice 72 pin using the RF switch, but you have to wiggle the RF switch to get a picture. If the RF switch isn't in the perfect spot, all you get is snow. If I connect it to a TV using AV cables, all I get is a black screen.

Problem Child NES #3: I get sound with a nice 72 pin and AV cables, but no picture, only a black screen. Connected with a RF switch all I get is a black screen and no sound.

Thanks in advance for any help.

  3. I think I remember this heavy sixer because I tried to buy it as well. I remember the seller was in Idaho, and I tried like crazy to contact them, but never was able too, so I didn't bid very high. The problem of course is it's difficult to know if it's really a new in the box heavy sixer without opening it, but of course you don't want to open it because that would hurt the value. It's the old catch 22. My humble opinion is it's worth around a $1000 because new in the box 4 switches go for around $400 to $600.

  4. I a few of the hex discs along with a 1977 heavy sixer complete in the box that is in amazing condition. The heavy sixer is from my personal collection and I wasn't planning on selling it, but times are tough, so I will be listing it on eBay in a couple weeks. I will also be listing the hex discs too. The hex discs I have are not repo's; they are from Atari.

  10. For sale I have some nice gaming books from back in the day, lots of 2600 joysticks and accessories including some hard to find items, a Sega Dreamcast System, and more. I think the prices on everything are very reasonable, and I've priced everything to sell. You can check my feedback on eBay: on eBay my ID is game-bay and I have a 100 percent feedback. I've got positive feedback here on Atari Age as well. I ship quickly, and make sure to package everything I ship very carefully using bubblewrap, packing peanuts, and cardboard boxes. Prices do not include shipping, but I'm very fair about shipping and only charge what it costs me to ship. Please note the minimum order is $10. Please send me a PM if you're interested in anything.

    Here's the list:

    ****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************

    Atari Joystick Lot #1

    joysticklot.1.jpg

    joysticklot.2.jpg

    joysticklot.3.jpg

    joysticklot.4.jpg

    joysticklot.5.jpg

    joysticklot.8.jpg

All of these joysticks and the Amiga Joyboard appear to be in excellent condition as you can see from the pictures. There are no chips or cracks in the plastic housings, but unfortunately I don't have a 2600 system right now to test everything, so I'm not certain if everything works properly. Here are the prices:

Wico Command Control Joystick with Ball Top $7 each Pending Sale

Wico Bat Command Control Joystick $6

    Amiga JoyBoard $12 Sold

Wico Command Control Missle Command Style Controller $9 Sold

TAC-2 Joysticks $6 each Pending Sale

Champ Black Controller (the cord winds up in to this controller) $3

    ****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************

Atari 2600 1978 System Box with Cardboard Inserts

    ataribox.5.jpg

    ataribox.6.jpg

    ataribox.1.jpg

    ataribox.2.jpg

    ataribox.4.jpg

    ataribox.3.jpg

This is a system box from 1978 with the original cardboard insert. It's interesting both the box and the insert have the serial number on it. I've never seen that before. I believe this is a heavy sixer box. In 1978 if I remember correctly, half the year Atari sold heavy sixers, and the other half they sold light sixers, but the system for this was a heavy sixer. I sold a bunch a systems in a huge lot to Atari 2600.com, and unfortunately the system that went with this box got sold in that lot by accident, so I no longer have the system. The box is in good condition, but as you can see from the pictures it does show some wear, and it has some staining on one side. The cardboard overall is in nice condition. Make me a reasonable offer on this and it's yours. Sold

    *****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************

Original Atari 2600 Heavy Sixer Hex Plate

    hexplate.1.jpg

    hexplate.2.jpg

This is an original hex plate that goes with the heavy sixer joysticks. I found it stuck inside a heavy sixer box. That's a good tip by the way. Always check the inside of a heavy sixer box because you might just find one of these stuck somewhere. I really don't have any idea what it's worth. Please make me an offer on it if you're interested.

    *******************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************

I'm going to post this now, and but I will be posting lots more soon. Thanks for checking out my sale.
