Not to highjack the thread, but I picked up Xenophobe from the South American lot but I haven't picked up Ikari Warriors or Motorodeo. Who's the best person to buy these from? Or does anyone have any they would llike to sell me?
-
I thought Renny's stores were being run by his son. atari2600.com was Jerry G's who sold to Bill Cody(?). Jerry started in Portland and then coincidentally moved to Phoenix AZ where Games Plus was located. The connection between atari2600.com and Games Plus was that Jerry bought a lot of stock from Renny and re-listed it in his catalog. 1031463 Sorry I'm mistaken then, I didn't know that Jerry started out in Portland. I thought Jerry sold to Joe Cody?

A few of those FBE's have shown up on eBay and they go for a lot more than $70 now. The person you bought from in Arizona sold his business to someone else and they're website now is www.atari2600.com The guy that runs it now is fantastic to work with and I've been happy with everything I've bought from him. Welcome back.

Up for auction I have some N64 games and some nice N64 cases. I also have some SNES games and I have a Sean Kelly Vectrex Multicart. I'm on the recommended trading lists both here and on Digital Press. Here's the link to my auctions: http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQfgtpZ1QQfrppZ25QQsassZgameQ2dbay Thanks! Michael

Thanks for all the suggestions! Here is an example of my new auction format: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...AMESE%3AIT&rd=1 I made the description more concise, I took out the screen shot photo, and I tried to streamline it a bit. I'll try it like this for a while and see how it goes. Let me know what you think of it. Thanks! Michael

Whenever I set up my eBay auctions I really go out of my way to set it up the way I like to see auctions done, but I'm thinking maybe I shouldn't. Here's an example of one of my auctions: http://cgi.ebay.com/Super-Bowling-Game-for...1QQcmdZViewItem and here is someone elses on the same game: http://cgi.ebay.com/Super-Bowling-Nintendo...1QQcmdZViewItem Their auction went for more using the stock photos. I know this is just one auction, but I actually see this a lot. Do you think I should change how I set up my auctions? Is my description too wordy?
-
I agree, I'm not fond of it either. I was right in the middle of listing some auctions when they changed things, and I was wondering what the heck was going on. At least they could have emailed us with a notice or changed it at 3 in the morning when not a lot people are on.

The box is definitely a heavy sixer box, there's no doubt about it. See the chess piece on the front of the box, that's only on the '77 box (it's a knight by the way). It's true, the box could be full of rocks and the seller was just handy with a bottle of Elmer's glue (that's why I was desperately trying to email them for more information) but the buyer seems to know his/her stuff. We've battled it out over many auctions.
-
I was drooling over this: http://cgi.ebay.com/Atari-Video-Computer-S...1QQcmdZViewItem I emailed the seller several times trying to get more information and never heard back so finally I gave up and didn't bid. They just got positive feedback from the buyer though so it looks like it was the real deal. Quite a steal I would say.

64squares replied to 64squares's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
I lowered the price. Does anyone know if I could sell this on eBay or do I risk having my account suspended? Thanks! Michael -
SOLD For sale I have a brand new, never used Cuttle Cart 2 with everything that originally came with it. If you want more information on the amazing Cuttle Cart 2 you can visit Chad Schell's website at this address: http://www.schells.com/cc2.shtml The price is just $130 shipped in the US. Chad's price is $160 shipped so you're saving $30. I will ship it using Priority Mail with delivery confirmation and insurance. I will pack it very carefully using a stiff cardboard box, bubblewrap and packing peanuts. Please send a PM if you're interested. I'm on the recommended trading lists both here and on Digital Press and I have a 100 percent feedback on eBay (on eBay my ID is "game-bay"). If you ask anyone who's bought from me, I'm sure they'll tell you I'm good work with. Thanks! Michael

How's this for a scary message I got from a buyer with 0 feedback tonight: "Hi Michael I think you are really great and have excellent customer service (which I wrote in the feedback) but I think I click on the wrong end of the spectrim! I wanted to click positive...if you see that I have I meant to do it the other way....Can I change it?" Thankfully they did leave me positive feedback, they just thought they left negative. Whew.

N64 Sale! I'm closing down my website and clearing out all of my remaining inventory. My dream was to eventually open up a small classic video game store here locally but unfortunately it hasn't worked out. First up for sale are my remaining Nintendo 64 games. I'm on the recommended trading lists both here and on Digital Press and I have a 100 percent feedback on eBay (on eBay my ID is "game-bay"). If you ask anyone who's bought from me, I'm sure they'll tell you I'm good work with. All of the games below have been professionally cleaned and tested and they're guaranteed to work perfectly and they have good labels unless noted. Pictures of all games are available upon request. If you request pictures, I will set up a page for you like this one: http://home.comcast.net/~game-bay/laura.html Please note the prices do not include shipping. I package all the games I ship very carefully using bubblewrap, peanuts, and a stiff cardboard box. Shipping prices are as follows for the US: 1 Nintendo 64 Game: $3.85 Shipped First Class Mail w/ Delivery Confirmation 2 Nintendo 64 Games: $4.75 Shipped Priority Mail w/ Delivery Confirmation 3 Nintendo 64 Games: $6.55 Shipped Priority Mail w/ Delivery Confirmation 4 Nintendo 64 Games: $6.75 Shipped Priority Mail w/ Delivery Confirmation 5 Nintendo 64 Games: $7.10 Shipped Priority Mail w/ Delivery Confirmation 6 or more determined by Zip Code Here is the list of the games with prices. Please note the prices are firm as almost all the games are actually below my cost. Please send me a PM if you're interested in any of the games (the minimum order is $10) I'm probably going to list all my remaining SNES systems and games on eBay, and I'm not sure what I'm going to do with my NES inventory as I still have a lot (over 500 games, 25 systems, and lots of accessories). When I get an inventory of it done, I'm going to offer it to 2600.com and if that doesn't work out, I may sell it as a lot on eBay. FA: Lots of Nintendo 64 Games and Accessories

Something seems to be wrong with eBay tonight--I'm getting all kinds of errors too. I think they're doing some sort of maintenance. -
VGA retired. 1023446 Is that what they call marriage these days? I thought he was just going in to semi-retirement to pay for the wedding?

Between the people here who use eBay as a business and are extremely regular and very thorough in their searches, plus all the people who use the searches you can set up through My eBay, plus just the ol' regular searching (and ever since eBay let you search title and description, that just made things easier), I'm fairly confident that any and all rare games get noticed. 1023421 Actually, ever once in a blue moon something does slip through the cracks--just ask Video Game Addict.

It really surprises me that a programmer would sell these at a garage sale. You would think he would have a sentinmental attachment to them or at least he would know they were valuable. Someone got a good deal I think.

Boxed Heavy Sixer $75+shipping
64squares replied to video game addict's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
That's an insane deal. No kidding you might want to email Dustin, he might give you more for it than that. The box you have for it is the '77 box too which is harder to come by. -

FA: Warsong, Shining Force II, and a rare system!
64squares replied to 64squares's topic in Auction Central
Yeah, it's certainly a unique system and I really like the look of it and it just does so much. Too bad more gaming modules weren't made for it. I'm sure it would have sold a lot better if it wasn't so expensive when it was new. Same kind of thing as the 3DO (another great system that was just way too expensive). I checked the pictures on the Pirates Gold auction thinking that maybe I forgot to reduce the size of a picture but they're all small so maybe it was just slow because of eBay. -
Up for auction right now I have Warsong, Shining Force II, Pirates! Gold, and the rare Pioneer Laseractive CLD-A100 with the Sega Genesis Control Pack. I also have some new never opened Sega Dreamcast T-Shirts. I'm on the recommended trading lists both here and on Digital Press and I have a 100 percent feedback on eBay. Please let me know if the auction for the CLD-A100 is too slow to load because of all the pictures (I may need to pull some of the pictures). If you have any questions, let me know. Here's the link to my auctions: http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQfgtpZ1QQfrppZ25QQsassZgameQ2dbay Thanks so much! Michael
