    Leafblowers are stupid and annoying and they woke me up. There are these things called "rakes" that don't make noise. Why not use them? I am so angry.

      LOL! My neighbor uses his leaf blower every single day to clear his driveway (and there's usually nothing on it). He seems to do it as soon as I'm getting ready to do a presentation on Teams at work. Almost every time. He's a good guy though, just loves his yard...

      @ls650 it's in reference to a discussion we were having earlier. Those without wealth often don't stress about it because they have none. Those with wealth tend to have more things to stress about, even though it shouldn't be. Some of the happiest times in my life were when I was poor! You don't stress about that which you cannot lose.

    Yesterday I found out my Track and Field machine from 1991 is still working just fine after being untouched in storage for years. CRT picture was scrolling at first but it stopped. God I love this game too bad it weighs as much as a fridgerator packed full of lead

    Wife update:  She is home from the hospital and resting comfortably.  After many tests and much pain the doctor diagnosed her with a pulled muscle in her ribs.  Hopefully she will be better in a week or so.

    Just got home from a vacation at Hocking Hills state park in Ohio, lots of hiking. Great scenery. I did not like driving on the roller coaster road ways though, some of it was terrifying, especially with the locals who get annoyed if you go too slow!

      Ooooh... yeah, I forgot about that. Whenever you're driving on mountain roads, the locals always get pissed if you aren't hauling ass. It's weird being in a sports car and having a 1979 Dodge PowerWagon riding your ass down twisty roads... lol.

      I have 2 years left before I'm guaranteed a pension, so I'm hanging in there... still loving my job, but I don't get to be as technical as I like because they expect me to do project management... :/

       

      I may have to look in two years.

    I feel kinda sorry for these on site meteorlogists reporting for the news networks -- standing there trying to stay upright with their clothes almost being blown off. They should sell banner advertising that attaches to the side of their outfit where the wind can unfurl it. Like those planes that fly over head dragging a banner. Stay safe if you're in the path of the storm.

    Anyone have any favorite beers/ciders you can only really get in England, or that are not readily available in the US? Would love to get some recs. I've been loving Northern Monk, Abbot Ale, and Old Thumper.
