  1. Well, most people get their eBay and PayPal fees on cheap items back through shipping and 'handling' charges, something you can't really blame them for. I most of the time email the seller to ask for overseas shipping options and what his handling price is. Most of the time when I do that they ask just for the actual costs.

I do this because some asshole asked for like $7 handling costs after I won an item because I live overseas, yeah right, that makes sense... I was young and naive back them.... 8)

On the other hand, I once won a record for $10 including shipping, that shipping was $9.96 or something. I like that kind of sellers.

  2. I have a Sega Game Gear adaptor, that can not really be used with the LYNX. It's 10V/550mA, the plug doesn't fit.

But I'm running my LYNX right now at 4.5V/600mA (!), it works, just like it works with low batteries. You can't get very much light from the backlight. Maybe it's bad for the battery indicator though, since it has to blink all the time :).

  3. I think you can send a complaint to ebay for shipping scams. But I don't think they do anything with complaints, I've send many about people selling fake/bootleg produtcs, and they're still selling...

  4. The Dutch postal service sucks as well. It's one of the most expensive in the world, doesn't offer surface mail, and is extremely slow. Yes, a lot of time it's customs, but when sending a few small packages there are always one or two who will arrive weeks later, without being inspected. Not to mention some letters have arived months too late as well.

My favorite is the Japanese postal service. I always let people send stuff with the cheapest airmail they have there, and stuff arrives in 5/8 DAYS! Never late either.
