  1. Man, that 4-switch 2600 sure is tempting, but I don't have PayPal (which is something I should look into). Maybe if I give a friend the cash, he'll buy it for me, if it's still up.
  2. I heard about this from a friend and went today. All I got was Max Payne and Super Monkey Ball Jr. for GBA. Everything else seemed to be picked over already. Saw some punk kid carrying ( ) carrying around Crazy Taxi 3; Panzer Dragoon Orta; Kung Fu Chaos for Xbox, and Futurama for GameCube. Which were games I wanted.
  3. Phantom! Woo-hoo, Phantom! You know its everyones favorite.
  4. No. Its the memory card. Its some crap card from China. Chinese writing printed into the plastic, I had a friend who can read/speak Chinese read it to me and its just directions on how to use it. It looks cheap, feels cheap. It is cheap.
  5. I always put DBG---my initials. Or the classic AAA. Or POO. The arcade her turned off the games each night so they lost the scores, each morning the manager would put in one one of them (it was a shooting game): IOU _A_ B_J _O_ YES _I_ D_O LUV KEL XOX And Kelly was a dude.
  6. Well that stinks. All the games I have must do that. They are all from near launch games (I think) Telling me. Damn thing fucked saves twice already. Once when I was overwriting a save on the card. It just became frozen. Restarted the system, it was gone. Good thing it was still on the system. The other time was I was moving the save from the card to the system. It became frozen again, and lost eveything on the card. Piece of crap. Thats what I am doing. Looked on eBay didn't see any offical ones at the time. Looked at the ended auctions and see that they go from $35-$60 (depending on if its boxed or whatnot). So I guess I'll have to start keeping my eye out and just pay whetever I have to pay. Well thanks for helping.
  7. Yeah. It came with a power supply and one controller. When I mean everthing else was missing, I am talking abou the instructions and the foam/cardboard the system sat in. All I got with Alien VS. Predator was the game and the three overlays. No box. The Jaguar didn't seem to be that bad, nice and clean. So I don't know why she sold it so cheap. It might have been her kids and they are gone so she sold it, to try to get some money back off them for 18+ years. Yeah, it was the RF unit. I called the shop last night to see if they would be open today, they were. So I drove out this morning (with the system, to see if it worked) and picked up a RCA cable along with an extra controller it was $38 and change with tax. Thanks for the welcome.
  8. Looks like it might have been spray painted. I don't think MS put out a crappy looking gold color anywhere. But looking at the bottom of the controller it doesn't look like it was painted. Maybe its the light the guy took the picture in? Making it look gold. Fluorescent lights (which you can see off the plastic) can make things look like at totaly different color at times.
  9. Another stupid question. I Saturn I bought today came with a 3rd Party Memory Card. The problem with it, it doesn't do autosave. It'll save to the system, and it won't see the card. So I have to move the game save from the memory card to the system, then from the system back to the card once I am done. It'll only save if the game has the opition to save to the system or the card (IE: Nights). Does anyone know of a 3rd Pary card that does autosave? Any of the imports one (where you can play imports, and has a 4MB upgrade)? Thanks! --David "Bruser" Goldberg
  10. Nice site! I have been visiting for the past few weeks (I just got DSL and have been going everywhere on the web). I am too young to remeber anything from Atari other than the Jaguar, and I really don't remember it that much. The only place I remember seeing it was at Wal*Mart. === Anyway, I went to a flea market today and a dealer was selling a Jaguar and Saturn (which I have a question about, will post that in the right forum). The Jaguar was boxed (just the box everything else was missing), it came with Cybermorph and Alien VS Predator, and was only charging $20 for it, so I thought what the hell and bought it. She hook the Jagar up and showed that it work, both games. I bring it home and hook it up, after playing it for about 20 minutes, the sound starts cutting out. After 20 seconds or so, its fine. Then not much later the picture started cutting in and out. I am thinking that its the RF input thingy. Atleast thats what I hope it is. Anyone have any other ideas on what it could be? I am thinking about going with the RCA input cables. I have been to a small mom and pop that sells alot of video games and I know they have them. Thanks! -David "Bruser" Goldberg
