atari 8 bit cartridges for trades (400/800/xl/xe)

That is the trade list. Ahh, you meant Want List. Good point, his website seems out of date. -
Last year we did a survey of XE cases with gray labels, http://www.atariage.com/forums/viewtopic.p...5915&highlight= The list is in the first post. I believe we cam up with 12 titles.

Anyone have a spare 800 A/V Cable?
Callipygous replied to Clint Thompson's topic in Atari 8-Bit Computers
I bought some cheap from http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...1&category=3543 Its been a couple of years, but i think that's the same guy. Brian V__ in Canada. they are color coded for the Commodore but just switch it around till it works. -
Romox started releasing carts in late 1982. The game center was available about Fall of 1983, initially in California. It could burn carts for Atari 800, 2600, C64, Vic-20 and TI-99. However, there were many slots and they could add capability for other consoles if there was a demand. The thing pretty much folded up by late 1984, so it lasted about a year at most. Here is a picture of the center:

@Tempest - Yes , I think Nir has done this. Common ones that are available in a regular cart release like Monster Maze by Epyx are probably not that valuable. I would think they are equivalent to blank ROMOX cart. You will probably get a wide range of opinions of the value of uncommon ROMOX games. However, since you can take any cart with common title or a blank and burn an uncommon game, I tend to devalue them as well. To me, its just a binary with no label, instructions or box to make it collectable. Too easy to repro.

http://www.allowe.com/More/softporn.htm Ahhh, the usual Zylobane condescension. What would AA be without that? Its just a web site and the one pointed to earlier says "I believe this is the first release of Softporn Adventure" with the Atari version pictured. Neither is conclusive. The AL Lowe is much more interesting and definitive. Thanks for that link.

But with a limited vocabulary

You just don't know Mock yet. He wasn't serious. I can see that he is quite a salesman and very good at customer relations.
-
No, it wasn't. The Apple II version was first. http://www.mobygames.com/game/sheet/p,31/gameId,9303/ How can you tell? Both are 1981. No?
-
Oh come on Mock. What is this pre-spam spam? You are wasting bandwidth with everybody clicking on nothing.
-
Yes , I have that disk. Hey, you weren't supposed to ask!

Moycon, you know how difficult Google is to use. Anyway, some interesting(?) info at swopes. http://www.snopes.com/music/songs/8675309.htm Alright, the horse is dead.

Computer magazine collection
Callipygous replied to Allan's topic in Gaming Publications and Websites
FYI- Analog took well over 2 years to produce the first 10 issues! Many of them do not have a month associated with them. For the record: Date Issue Jan-Feb 1981 1 Mar-Apr 1981 2 May-Jun 1981 3 1981 4 1982 5 1982 6 1982 7 1982 8 1982 9 1983 10 Apr-May 1983 11 Jul-Aug 1983 12 Sep-Oct 1983 13 Nov-Dec 1983 14 Jan-84 15 and then monthly although they missed May84. -
..... Why would the phone company care if they are still getting their $30 a month or whatever from the phone bill on that number? Because they own it and would like make the cash. Why should the "renter" of the number get to sell it? Obviously, eBay pulled it for being illegal.

Verizon says "a subscriber has no proprietary right in any number that is assigned by the telephone company." http://www.wnbc.com/money/2850925/detail.html

Hundreds of ANTIC's and ANALOG's! What To Do With Them?
Callipygous replied to Tempest's topic in Atari 8-Bit Computers
A $1 is about right for most issues in excellent condition. The first year and particularly the premier issue are considerably more valuable. I have all ANALOG and ANTIC issues and paid a lot more for the first year. -
Sure, we believe that.

Never seen one myself. According to the FAQ, http://www.faqs.org/faqs/atari-8-bit/faq/s...section-34.html This is the "410P". It requires 6V DC 300 mA (1.8 W) No part # or polarity given.
