Received 15 cart shells. They are really well done. Better than I expected. Very detailed. Looks like they came from original molds. Thank you

Without the boxes and manuals you are not going to get $8 each. TBH I would not want want them if they were free plus cost of shipping

Got a 4 port new. Super Breakout was pack in. Think got Galaxian and Space Invaders next. Hard to remember order of bought video games 38 years ago.

I believe the trackball is a standard billiards / pool cue ball. You can get a new cue ball or try to whiten it as per some Google searches:

After finally getting one, no reason to have one. Very fragile and slow. I don't think Atari could have made the CD unit any cheaper than they did.

Thank you. Able to create an account for when pre-orders open.

That setup will introduce a good amount of lag. Alternative: Sophia DVI mod; or Sophia RGB mod to OSSC / Framemeister mini outputting HDMI to TV. Expensive but absolutely perfect picture.
If you want to use Atari 5200 RF output, get an old Sony TU-1040U tuner off ebay and a RetroTink pro. Not as expensive as Sophia solution, but no real lag. Sony is a pro grade tuner from back in the day and will do a good job converting RF to composite output.

He can pack this all in and walk away without owing anyone anything. In fact that’s very nearly what he did in response to all of the entitlement and negativity he got hit with during that first run. If you find the process too eccentric for you then perhaps it’s best if you just pretend to yourself that the JagGD has been discontinued, and in a couple of years when the thought occurs to check in again you can be pleasantly surprised to see them in stock at AA or SAG.
I feel the same way. SaiNT can just walk away without doing anything else.
And I have not received one. There are 149 in front of me and if I get one great, if not thanks to SaiNT for making these.

I use and recommend the True-USB Pro GQ-4X Willem programmer sold and supported by a Canadian company Mcumall: https://www.mcumall.com/comersus/store/comersus_dynamicIndex.asp
They also sell adapters for different chips. They have a support forum.

I was a release day buyer of the Jaguar. Enthusiasm waned as time went on. By the time the CD unit was on clearance for $30 had no interest in getting one.
There were some good games. But as time went on buying games like Checkered Flag , Double Dragon, etc really killed the system for me.

I've acquired a number of systems. Most disappointing to me was the Emerson Arcadia 2001. To me it does not compare well to other systems of the same era.

Bought new when I was in college. Still have that system.

They are trying to carve out a niche for themselves in a crowded console market and cannot compete toe to to with Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo since the don't have a resources or money for such battles. It isn't how powerful you console is but what you do with it, as the old saying goes the software makes the hardware. Many time in video history as less technically advance console have been more successful while consoles with higher spec and vastly improved capabilities have fallen flat on their face. Nintendo is prime example that you don't need to have the most powerful and most technically advanced console on the marker to be a successful gaming platform and carve out niche in which to thrive.
While you talk about it being a console. Atari actually stated in their latest Medium post that the Atari VCS is a "fully functional mini-pc." Good luck on competing in that market. $400 + $130 for windows home 10 + $60 for a small SSD of HD + $30 for cheap keyboard / mouse and then installing /setting up. Why would anyone prefer that over a prebuilt nuc, cheap laptop or desktop?

Atari will license anything, even if it offers the same things as the VCS at a fraction of the cost.
Microcenter is selling Atari Pi Kit Bundle for $80 which includes:
USB Gamepad
32GB MicroSD card with game download utility containing 100+ licensed Atari Game
Power supply
HDMI cable
Custom DYI Raspberry PI Atari case
Raspberry Pi 3 B+
Starter Guide
This is in stock and available now. Great way to play fully licensed Atari classics for much less than the VCS. Custom case too, just like the VCS. Only 320 less than the VCS bundle!
If you already have everything, $17 buys you just the Atari Custom Pi Case

I also found this handy gadget on eBay so i can have both the VCS adapter and also an HDMI output for my 5200 as well, should I get one??? I'd love to have everything running on HDMI outputs exclusively, I already found a composite a/v-to-HDMI interface for my VCR, so what do you think???
I had the same problem recently. I posted on the Shumps forum. Feedback was that inexpensive RF to HDMI converters introduce significant lag. So I ended up purchasing a RetroTink 2x pro (new) and Sony TU-1041U tuner on Ebay ($40 shipped) and they work great together to output RF to HDMI. The RetroTink by itself will convert Composite to HDMI. I'm very happy with that solution.
If the 5200 is the only system you need to run through RF, I'd recommend the Sophia RGB board if you have an RGB scaler (such as OSSC or Framemeister XRGB mini). That's the best quality picture you can get from your 5200.

This link takes you to an Aliexpress page selling the MTVBox. Scroll down and it identifies what all the connectors are.

In post #9 doubledown posted the link to the coax to Belling Lee connector you need to get: https://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Coaxial-PAL-NTSC-Connector-Adapter-Male-Belling-Lee-to-Female-US-F-Coax/122270197809?hash=item1c77df2831:g:Jh8AAOSwuAVWyLem&redirect=mobile

Its more than 3 way and a bit pricey but I recommend gscartsw available here: http://www.gretrostuff.com/store/. I have one and works great with Jaguar and other systems with rgb output (including modded systems). A 170 page thread on his switches found on Shumps forum here: https://shmups.system11.org/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=50851
Otherwise, there are 5 position Bainbridge scart switches which you might still be able to find on EBay.

@Austin - I watched the whole video over several days. Well done!!
You must have put so many hours into that game! You seemed to fade away towards the end, but that's understandable after a couple of hours playing.
