Game is exactly the same. Overlays are the same. Box, manual and cart label differ

If you gave an RGB setup, I would recommend the Sophia video mod. Best quality picture of the different mods.

If I'm not too late, I'd also appreciate it vi could buy one. PM sent.

If it was true, you would expect Atari to confirm that on their IGG page to their backers.

But that only says Fall 2020. Nothing about October.
No idea where Game Informer would have gotten "October" unless they know more than is public?
Of course they could just be assuming/guessing October because "Fall"
If it was really shipping in October, Atari would just directly say that. Their silence does not provide any support to the accuracy of the article.
This is a pattern I've seen over and over on the IGG comments. Posters will make claims about the VCS / games / status. Atari is silent to those claims and does not respond to them. Posters then run with them as fact. Very clever by Atari as a way to make it seem like things are happening. Clearly nothings happening or Atari would confirm some of them or say something definitive.
Also what BS Atari is giving about their prior statements on shipping dates. "Weeks, not months". Their explanation as to why that did not happen: we believed it when we said it. By that logic say anything you want. When its shown to be not true, oh well we thought it was true when we said it. Try that with your spouse when you say you'll do something and then don't. But honey I meant it and it was it true when I said I would, even though I didn't do it.

@Albert - I originally sent in a request on the store contact form? Am I even on a list to get one? Thank you

I enjoyed it back in the easy. It all comes down to whether you enjoy this type of game.

Received 3 yesterday. Thank you

I have both. To me, graphically the 7800 version has better sprites, moves smoother and looks more like the arcade version. However I prefer playing the 5200 version because of the dual stick controller holder.

Finally played Mad Bodies recently. Was surprised its a breakout type game. For me it was more frustrating than fun. Its one of those unobtainium things that's for collectors more than players.

Been watching the IGG comments for the least couple of weeks. Atari has plenty of time to delete posts. But no time to provide any update or answer any questions.

Attached are properly formatted manual files.
I do not have image files. Please post them if you find them.

I have never seen updated firmware for the AtariMax SD card and I've owed one since shortly after it was offered for sale.
I've attached as a zip a backup of the original SD card that was included with the cartridge.

Nice adaptation! Thank you!

As a long time reader of this thread and the IGG comments, observations are:
Years late
Past latest shipment date
No update on when to expect shipment
No exclusive games announced
No OS shown that actually runs anything but tiles
Windows 10 shown running - not even licensed, only "evaluation" mode
Parts for 500 units (and never said they are assembled units) when pre orders are greater than 10,000
Deleting real questions on IGG asking for status updates
Not deleting personal attacks on IGG
THEY HAVE NOTHING NEAR READY

I would not be surprised if "developers" = OS programmers and not game programmers. In other words they are were being sent to folks to develop the software to make it turn on so that you can then have a chance to play a game.

Thinking more about city, I don't think I flashed anything. It was the VBXE that need flashing as it came set up for XE computers. Revision C was just a change to DVI output.
On mine I had set jumpers to get it to output a picture.
Simius install instructions were:
QuoteInstallation goes the same way, as in other computers. Remove GTIA chip, put the additional socket, put Sophia board, put GTIA chip, connect the ribbon cable. That's all.

Only game I do not have: Bounty Bob Strike Back.

I've installed a Sophia several years ago. I have a number of firmware files. I don't remember which file I used on it. I'm attaching everything I received from Simius. It might be something as simple as jumper settings.

Been thinking of starting simple with some basic graphic theory before tackling the mammoth Jaguar graphics system, but that's for another topic elsewhere. Just posting here to clear the air.
I have original prints of those 3 books. They are for the Atari 8 bit computers. Many years ago taught myself assembly and make a couple of games which were in Antic magazine

FYI - I did this technique on a really beat up Atari 5200 metal strip. It actually created all new brush marks in the metal strip. Mine did not come out as shiny as the original strip was. Also, I could still make out the old scratches and dents but they were masked by new horizontal lines.
To me, it was debatable whether it looked any better. However, it it did not look like the original strip. I am usually very good at this stuff, but I may not be as skilled as Bratwurst.

My order confirmation email back on 8/19/19 says pre-order position #344.
Today RetroHQ says order #583.
No idea what is up. At least I have eproms / boards to make up to 60 carts.

GDEMU works great. Can be a bit tricky to set up the SD cards exactly as you want. USB-GDROM also works great and to me is easier to set up the SD card. Have both. Both work great. My preference is the USB-GDROM for ease of organizing and setting up the SD card.
