  1. After pandemic started TT said: TLDR The base units will NOT be over $249... THAT I can 100% promise! and more BS, BS, BS
  2. For folks owed $100 it is impractical or most likely impossible to sue. Even in Small Claims the Court has to have jurisdiction over IE. There won’t be jurisdiction unless you live in a State where IE does business. If you can get jurisdiction, sue, IE defaults by failing to Answer and default Judgment is entered, all you will have is a piece of paper saying IE owes you money. Good luck collecting.
  3. It’s dead. The simple explanation for the “quiet period” is there is nothing at all happening. It’s been dead for over a year. I do not expect to ever see an “official” cancellation as that requires somebody actually doing something. Which no one is.
  4. Yes. Except for CV, that was the rule BITD. Console purchase gave you something to immediately play the game. Desired games have to be purchased.
  5. TT threatens to leave ... jaybird apologizes ... and 5 posts later, TT is staying
  6. Jaybird drank the cool aid as far back as 2019. Kind of explains the moderation done. Doesn't make it right though.
  7. An example of what is in the hidden Q&A thread. Amazing "CEO" behavior.
  8. Still cant believe you were banned seemingly at TT's demand. Especially when TT posted far worse without even a warning from the mods (and plural is intentional)
  9. TT"s BS was present right from the get go. In 2019 TT said "of course" to an Amico reimaged version of Stern's Berzerk. They were in talks with Namco about Amico couch coop versions of Pac Man and Ms. Pac Man. And the ECCO the Dolphin gang was being brought back together, but nothing could be confirmed. And the Amico had an internal hard drive (yes, a hard drive) Folks just believed everything that was said.
  10. Phil Adams stated in this video the $100 pre-order deposit is fully refundable at any time. He is very clear in this video. He did not attach any conditions (such as IE needs to raise more money before you can get a requested refund; or that you will have to dispute CC or Paypal charge to get a refund).
  11. Folks have been focused too much on Cornhole. Kubb has also been "in production" since 2019. Looking forward to playing that on a monitor instead of outside with the family while grilling. Has anyone seen reveals of Kubb?
  12. Think about what TT said. A game demo for a phone / tablet using touch screen controls is not aimed at casuals or non gamers. What??? Did TT even think through what he says. Amazing folks just accepted that BS.
  13. Silly Rev. An engineer who worked for them posted on the internet that they passed preliminary FCC certification. Don't know why you bother looking on the FCC website. Accept as true everything posted on the internet about the Amico. Will save you from actually having to do critical thinking about whether it makes sense, or heaven forbid, have to think about whether or not it is truthful.
  14. I for one am really looking forward to the Amico coming out. Can't wait to play Joust, Robotron, Defender and Gauntlet on my Amico. The Amico controller will make game play so much better than it is on Mame, MiSTER or any console released from PS1 to today.
  15. Yes, Earthworm Jim could be a system seller for retro gamers. But come on, a system seller for anyone who started gaming after SNES / Genesis. (Seriuosly who else bought the 360 and PS3 remakes) You got to do better if you want to try to make the case that this system appeals to 3.1 billion casual gamers. Farkle? Would rather pull out Yatzee and play it on a table. Real life rolling dice and interacting with folks at the table. The only thing Farkle has going for it is no licensing fee. That's appealing to IE, not potential buyers. Thing is I would have bought this if it was just a remake of the Intellivision I grew up with. But after TT's antics there is no way I'd ever buy this.
  16. Lenovo developed the Legion Play, a portable Android gaming device with a 7" screen. Looks to be positioned as a mobile gaming device minus the phone. Something for the casual free to play crowd. Yet Lenovo decided to cancel the project. Too bad Lenovo did not have TT's market research and data. If they did they would have seen they would have had a sure hit with the 3.1 billion casual gamer market. https://liliputing.com/lenovo-legion-play-is-a-handheld-game-console-running-android-leaks/ https://liliputing.com/prototypes-of-lenovos-canceled-legion-play-handheld-game-console-go-on-sale-in-china/
