  1. You are not going to get a direct answer. You are going to get selective responses which ignore what you asked. That’s why I stopped dialogue with mr_me. Nothing against mr_me, but there became no point to continuing a dialogue.
  2. Agreed. I've reached out to Al with a similar suggestion but got no response
  3. With what has transpired since then, do you still feel the Amico is reasonably different from anything else out there?
  4. Exactly. That's why I've stopped responding to whatever they post. It's just taking an opposing view and trying to trigger a response.
  5. Same here. I bought one in 1983 and don't remember any tv commercials. Only ads I remember were the video game magazine articles with 5200 game version compared to another system. Also, I remember the system just disappearing after a couple of years.
  6. No, the only thing worse than that was that advertising would not begin until a few weeks befor launch. Amazing folks actually found that reasonable.
  7. @MrBeefy Any thoughts of changing the thread title to Amico: Vindication and Triumph of MrBeefy or Amico: Haters - 1 and TT & team - 0
  8. You are just making up all kinds of assumptions from whatever quote you cite. No wonder it’s not being taken seriously.
  9. Your posts assume IE is being truthful. Still waiting for a post weighing whether one should believe the cited IE statement.
  10. You must be a hater! We have heard TT say many times that Switch and PS5 parental controls are way too complex for moms to handle. Amico does away with the need to try to learn how to use parental controls by only having quality curated kid friendly titles no worse than E13 and rated at least 7/10. No need for the Amico to have parental controls with great kid and family friendly titles like Bomb Squad and B17 Bomber. Only haters refuse to acknowledge the truth!
  11. Until it is actually shown, this is no different than all the announcements over the last couple of years. Entering production, shipping in weeks not months, etc. At this point with nothing shown, it's just BS. Also, shipping and arrive in weeks makes the BS meter go up. I ordered something from Taiwan recently and it was at the house four days after the order. Halfway around the world in 4 days. Amico is weeks to get there. Wake me up when there is something to see. Until then this is all noise to ignore.
  12. Even with a couple of posts every few days, there is more Amico related happening here than at IE
  13. Meanwhile, there is absolutely nothing happening at IE in regards to the Amico. And I mean anything actually occuring, not talk about what IE is trying to do nor speculation about how many units "may" be made.
  14. Good article. Starts out with the original IE pitch and chronicles TT behavior and its impact on the project Balanced viewpoint and factual based article
  15. This is ridiculous. The old Amico Q & A / Fun Discussion threads should be unhidden so their behavior sees the light of day. Keeping those threads hidden makes AA an participant in the cover up how TT and supporters acted.
  16. Could this be the BBG Entertainment "licensing deal" Phil Adams teased on August 30th? The Amico exclusive game Dynablaster is now available for android and ios platforms. But not the Amico. And Dynablaster is free to play offering in app purchases. Wonder what percentage of the in-app purchases are going to IE.? (https://www.bbg-entertainment.com/games/dynablaster) It's also coming soon for Nintendo Switch, Xbox, Steam, Google Play, Windows and Amazon. (https://dynablaster.com) Would not be surprised if all along BBG was developing the game for other systems and the IE deal was just for an Amico port. Imagine now paying $280 or $340 for the opportunity to play the same free to play game on the Amico.
  17. One needs to weigh the credibility of what IE says and have that analysis as part of the conversation. There is no point in having a discussion without considering whether what IE says is believable.
